Light rail gets green light for Baltimore's Red Line transit project
Baltimore’s Red Line has the green light, but where the green will come from to pay for the project’s completion, remains the big question.
During a news conference with local and state leaders at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Campus Friday, Gov. Wes Moore, Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller, Department of Transportation Secretary Paul Wiedefeld, Baltimore City Mayor Brandon Scott, and Baltimore County Johnny Olszewski, were all on hand for the big announcement: the Red Line will be served by light rail instead of buses.

No jobs but lets put in light rail for criminals
A 5:23 minute report and they can't be bothered with showing a map, nor even explaining in words, the proposed layout, other than saying east and west. They sure picked the right color for the name of the 'Red Line' because it's sure to put Baltimore even further in the red.

This is monumentally stupid. Clunky trains running through crowded streets to shave five minutes off a bus ride from west to east. This should be built as a heavy rail line and tied in with the existing subway.
Will the red line make it out to Wes Moore's area? ...I'm sure not.
