You guys ever noticed that Rudiger and Detlinde serve as a sort of look at how Wilfried's life could have turned out without the influence of Veronica and Rozemyne respectively?

This series got me to buy the light novels. But even after reading the light novels I find I still enjoy these videos. Keep up the good work.

Elvira & Rozemyne have the best moment ever here... Myne is so lacking in motherly attention this life...

This is without a doubt one of my top favorite moments from the whole series. Beyond the revelation that Elvira had always known the obvious, we actually see her and Rozemyne have their first and likely last moment of mother and daughter bonding. Something Rozemyne has been looking for while trudging through an emotional desert for the last 20 volumes. And we see how much of an impact Rozemyne's very existence has had for Elvira.

This entire book felt like a nod to her start. Which I like because it genuinely sounds clever and not shoehorned in.

ah yes, P5V6 the (relative) calm before the storm! can you imagine that everything up to this point would be squished into half a season and/or some expository flashbacks in most other Isekai?

The "Mother and Daughter" chapter was my very fave chapter of the volume, by far and away my face of the series up to this point. I felt like I was in the hidden room with them ugly crying as well. Made my decision to start reading pre-pubs super worth it

Nice take on Ferdinand's influence on Rozemyne's other relationships - its easy too see he's part of the reason of her socializing skills are poor, but highlighting how his own damage limited her relationship to others is a great insight

" the reason of her socializing skills are poor " Are they really, though ? Those who constantly complain about her socializing skills are overall pretty pathetic themselves. Flawrencia who wrongly believes she has the making of a First Lady, Childvester the utterly pathetic excuse of an Aub, Wildumb who can't even understand when he's insulted if it's not straightforward, Anastasius who believes it's okay to insult a young lady and AC and her whole Duchy first thing in their first meeting in a public setting because of petty jealousy, to force his way in a highly esteemed social institution and overall to act like a freaking creepy stalker, Sigisdumb who don't even understand that not even bothering to hide both his contempt and desire to just use his interlocutor like a mere tool is a problem, etc.. On the other hand, she socially accomplished more in the first week of her first year in RA than all of the Ehrenfest's nobility in two centuries, passed her etiquette class with flying colors, is described by most of the exterior PoVs as gracious and dignified, made many young ladies' hearts skip a beat and overall navigated the RA socialization without a hitch, effectively standing at the top without breaking a sweat. Not to mention how she skillfully destroyed so much of her enemies and other bothersome people with just her way with words. So, sure, her guardians and literally every single arrogant moron in the stories are unable to understand her way, but in the end, the results, and even more the comparative results, speak volume ;).

Keep note of the peculiar sweet scent that seems to always hang around Leonzio.... just like the smell around the sovereign nobles that attacked the bride stealing ditter. Curious, isn't it? The implication is, that Leonzio uses trug or some derivate of it, to enhance his emotional manipulation with some alchemical substances. My personal pet theory is, that Leonzio had his hands coated in some of the stuff - whatever stuff it is - which is why he was so eager to make physical contact with Detlinde right away. And when Ferdinand smacked Leonzio's hand away, he got some on himself, which would explain Ferdinand's uncharacteristially letting his mask slip, despite the obvious negative impact this would have on his relationship with Detlinde and thus also make it more difficult for him to keep her under control. It'd also line up well with what little brain there was in Deltlinde's skull to begin with, melting pretty much in it's entirety, the moment their hands touch. As for Florencia... I'm not having a high opinion of her parenting skills. She didn't seem to put up much of a fight against Veronica taking Wilfried away from her. And the moment Veronica is out of the picture, she doesn't immediately take charge of her son's education, but just lets things continue as they are with basically no oversight. With how insanely behind Wilfried's education was at this point, even the most simple of questions about his education would have revealed that there's something very, very wrong and yet it took Rozemyne and Ferdinand for Florencia to notice. And what does she do, once she is aware? Loudly proclaim that she would personally take control of Wilfried's education from now on... only to leave most of it to Rozemyne and Rihyarda... Not to mention she and Sylvester keep "protecting" Wilfried from the truth, even after it keeps backfiring on them time and again. Had they been honest with Wilfried from the moment Rozemyne got him through his noble debut, the Ivory Tower incident, Oswald's and Barthold's manipulations,... all of that would either have been stopped from happening in the first place, or dampened in their severity. In regards to Rozemyne, Florencia also assumed that Elvira would take care of her education, but never bothered to talk with Elvira about it, despite how often they meet. Sure, all of this can be traced back to Veronica (and by extension Gabriele) to some degree, but that it kept being perpetuated after Veronica was out of the picture, shows some serious shortcomings in Florencia and Sylvester too, beyond being pushovers against their own family (both to Veronica and their older siblings in Frenbeltag, though at least not toward Georgine, thanks to her burning that bridge with her open hostility long ago). I suppose it's possible that Florencia is just so overworked due to being the only wife of the archduke, when usually they'd have at least two, or most often three wives to share the load, that she just doesn't have the time to dedicate to her children, especially not the adopted one, but if so, we never really learn of it. Of their three children, only Charlotte is close to Aub material (and wants to be Aub), but even she seems a bit too soft and passive to me, to thrive in the cutthroat enviroment that is Yurgenschmidt's noble society in general, but especially inter-duchy relations on the Aub level.

This came out way sooner than I expected but I am really excited for it. Thanks again for the awesomeness that is these videos

The wait for the next volume begins, it was a welcome surprise for this volume to drop so early, cant get enough of this series.

LMAO... at 1:13:10 is I could swear I heard (in my own head) the voice of Ferdinand swearing at Rozemyne about another headache she was giving him :D🤣🤣🤣

RM was embarrassed about sharing her feelings to Lieseleta because it felt like a love confession. She even tells offers her a raise and tells her she can have shumils because she is worried she might say no. Everyone thinks it is adorable, except Rosemyne. Elvira helped her make a hidden room because that is something a mother traditionally does with her daughter. It was a bonding moment.

Great break down as always Trash-Tier Waifu. I hope I am not the only one but I completely missed the sweet smell trug reference in Detlinde's side story first read through. I was rolling my eyes so often reading what passes for thoughts inside her head and wanting to get see what the other side stories had in store I just missed it. I found out with Chattering Magpi's video breaking down this volume and while they are fun, especially the memes, I really enjoy this more with its own humor baked into the slides and the knowing references but not quite spoilers for those that are up to date with the novels at least in terms of when the videos are published.

I was on my way to the gym and thinking wouldn't it be awesome if the new episode was posted today. and BAM in the middle of my workout a new episode drops. That final comment at the end of the video what Ferdinand tasked Rosemyne with just clicked. He told Detlinde that the royalty willl obtain the Gutreshiet soon and at the same time had tasked Rosemyne to create 300 of the maximum quality paper but he will be the one that completes the process (weird I thought), but then through out the episode there was mention of how the Gutresheit use to be copied and pased down and Rosemyne also created the Copy and Place spell. Dose Ferdinand have the Gutreshiet??? or more likely knows how to obtain it and will have Rosemyne get it. I am assuming the latter since that sounds like the most logical direction the plot is going. I also get the feeling Ferdinand will not hand over the Gutreshiet to the royal family but only a special copy that he has done something to.

This volume sets the stage and sets the relationships of the supporting soap opera for the next volume's action scenes.

55:06 Well, let's be honest here, the magic contract stuff with the RMCM isn't really of Rozemyne's responsibility. She was forced to teach her compression method by Sylvester and Ferdinand, both being quite the hypocrites ( as always with stuff concerning her mana from far or close, like with the whole " A proper noble doesn't expand their mana freely/the Ehrenfests will adopt you to use your mana for pretty much everything, that you want it or not " running gag... ). Of course she needed to protect herself when she was forced to relinquish what was her only weapon in noble society... Well, Ferdinand too has a more efficient compression method than average ( likely designed from old Zent's methods ) and not only he never disclosed it, be it for the benefit of Ehrenfest, he never even actually thought about doing it for even a second ( while he needed no more to decide to use Rozemyne's for his brother's convenience :p ), so... Oh, but well, not like it could stop the community to overall firmly believing that Rozemyne is treated fairly by the Ehrenfests :'(.

You my good sir have helped me through some of my toughest times with your videos and your voice in the background. Thank you for all the work you put into each video.

Man i gotta say, watching this series for as long as i have, the fact that we are at part 5 vol.6 and you are still doing so much visually to make the video entertaining to watch as your soothing voice goes on catching my attention with the witty-ness of your words, I really appreciate how you have kept the quality really well and made this an enjoyable journey to have and play mostly just listening to but I do like each episode just because you deserve it each time. Thank you.

I read the entire series (at least what is translated) and its really nice. I compared it to many other light novels and in case of Bookworm the author is actually cares about quality and plot. She has some serious writing skills and it is noticable.

I don't care what some people say about Rosemyne being to direct. It doesn't lead to the complete failure to communicate which is this culture. If everyone would have had this family chat before Rosemyne went under jureve then they all would have come to face facts that Charlotte was the only one who should have been Aub. Wilfred was unqualified, Rosemyne didn't want it AND Sylvester was never going to give her the seat, and making them a couple only worked in Sylvester's mind.
