Description of the picture:
The painting "Light" is a stunning landscape that captures a magical moment after a thunderstorm. The sky, dark and majestic, is completely occupied by heavy clouds, but the sun's rays still break through the window and spill down, illuminating the green field and river. At this moment, the field shimmers in the sun's rays, the play of light and shadow creates a fabulous spectacle. A lonely house, illuminated with warm light inside, gives this picture a coziness and pleasant atmosphere. A variety of meadow flowers are scattered throughout the area, adding brightness and beauty to the palette. The majestic elk came to the bank of the river to drink water, and with its appearance adds a unique beauty and sophistication to the picture. "Light" immerses the viewer in an atmosphere of hope, peaceful solitude and attracts with its bright and harmonious colors.

This guy and his family are all great artists. I think his children also are painters, correct me if I'm wrong. One of the best modern day landscape artists in my humble opinion.

I agree. I'm a retired art teacher who still gives occasional lessons and reference his videos often to students. Viktor has has always been very economical with how he blocks in his painting subjects, but it's how he adjusts his values as he goes along that's his most valuable teaching asset. His eye for colors is amazing for someone who uses acrylics. The paints he uses darken when they dry, so he's had to learn how to adjust and lighten values on the fly to keep his work vibrant and bright. He truly is a modern master, and his videos are a great resource for art students who may be intimidated with painting landscapes.

When I look at this painting I believe God is watching over you, the opening in the clouds represents his eye looking upon you even in your darkest times. Very good job ❤🙏🏽
Beautiful. The more he added unto the painting the brighter the rays became. Was it just me or did anyone else shed a tear or two? I’ve become so emotional when it comes to creatively gifted beings.

I get you... however, I get more emotional when I hear of a human being anonymously helping those less fortunate. Something I wish I could strive for, but somehow I can't. 😢😢 But I see where you're coming from, he's immensely talented.

the emotions in this painting are very strong
I found this video 3 days ago.... I've watched this masterclass 7 times now. I'm finding myself in shock every few minutes . Viktors understanding of light , shade and Temperature is something anyone that paints should strive toward. I picked up a brush for the first time in 13 years today because of this video and I have to say that everything I did looks like an underpainting still ... But i managed to chop out some details. Today was inspired. I think this might be my favorite piece of art on the planet right now.

Fabulous. Exactly my favorite kind of art 🎨. Hudson River School. Inspired me since seeing it as a young child in the Met. I had a one man ( boy) show there myself. They had my work in the Louvre also then. I was on television multiple times and in periodicals. I should have been an artist 🎨 😪. Instead I settled into being a doctor, but at least it is as a radiologist, pictures!
I love that he draws your eyes towards the light with his technique. One of the best landscape painters in the world currently.
The depth perception is beautiful.
Look at the clouds , how you play with shadows.., you must thank Lord every day for this gift..!

14:25 I love how the clouds at the three o'clock position are front lit at the opening and the part at the 7 o'clock position is back lit from the sun. Beautiful touch.
