I also use these to fall asleep. Nice and calming. Only other videos I keep coming back to for sleeping are Danny from game grumps solo play throughs of space quest. Nice soft spoken gameplay without whispering (kinda like bob, but Dan gets excited from time to time and raises his voice). And nice retro 80s sound effects. Truly a happy accident dan had to work alone without his co host.

On the street he'd be a face in the crowd, but put him in front of an easel and he's a cultural icon. RIP Bob Ross. You touched so many (and still do).

This looks peaceful until you try to paint along with him. He mixes so fast! And he does it on the spot. What do you mean another dry brush? I used all my brushes already! Ten pauses and an hour later I finally caught up. Lol this man is a beast of an artist.

I listen to Bob Ross as a means of therapy to calm my anxiety and stress.

As a kid, I used to come home from school so excited to watch him on PBS. I was always so amazed with how he could create an entire scene in just minutes. His personality was so calming and much needed after a stressful day. This man is a legend.

Bob Ross was such a wholesome figure in this world. Watching him legitimately makes me tear up. RIP Bob. You were too good for this world.

this man was a sergeant in the air force. i couldn't even imagine him yelling at someone giving them orders. he even said when he retired from the air force he wouldn't raise his voice again. He also said after a long day like that, painting was his peace.

I still remember when Nob was doing his paintings on PBS. My Mom and my mother-in-law were devotees of Bob's and have fond memories of watching him with both. I miss him, but what a great legacy. Thank you for bringing him back to us and creating new artists. ❤

EVERY TIME. It goes from a blah of blended colors to DEPTH AND DETAIL. And he does it in like 4 brush strokes. Gets me every time

I love how Bob is a teacher at heart. This is the 10th season, but he still goes into detail but his techniques like this is season1 episode 1 to ensure everyone can paint like him.

This man singlehandedly: cures depression, has the most heartwarming quotes, has a soothing voice, draws fantastic paintings in less than 30 minutes from scratch and has the best content for relaxing on youtube. Why is he dead?

we didn't deserve this man, he is so pure. The way he smiles/laughs after washing his brushes. When he says he doesn't know what he's doing because it's all coming together as one. three years ago, I was very depressed and somehow I found a Bob's video, painting landskap it's makes me feel well, light, then I stayed relax just seeing the magic appear in the canvas. R.I.P Bob

I used to love watching his show. It was nuts how easy he made it look to create an amazing painting in the space of a half-hour.

This video is 5 years old so I doubt anyone will even read this but I have a little story I wanted to share that happened today. I have one of those tacky Bob Ross Funko pop dolls sitting in my window of my kitchen at home. I bought it a while ago and honestly forgot he was there. Today we found a little gift bag placed precariously on our porch. We cautiously picked it up, not knowing what it was. We found a card inside that someone had written that they walk to work each day and that seeing Bob Ross made their day, and that they wanted him to have a painting. Deeper in the bag was the smallest, sweetest little painting on a miniature easel. It was a painting from this episode. I just wanted to share. It was one of those moments I know I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you, stranger and thank you, Bob Ross. You both have inspired me in a huge way.
