Engine doesn't need to be running, but then you'll only get one lift or so. Bonus tip - headlight button is for the headlights while you're walking to the car, but press the headlight button twice and the reverse lights come on too

If you are towing anything this is a very useful feature. Backing up in low position and then raising to the receiver to connect or lowering out of the receiver. Sometimes the ball doesn’t won’t to come out of the receiver after towing and this will help dislodge it as well.

Thanks for posting. Sadly it's yet another overly complicated LR feature. By the time I open the car and turn the hazzard lights on I can just use the dash switch.

I'm glad I now know how to do it but tbh, I really don't see the point. If I have to climb into the car to start the engine and turn the hazards on, why not press the suspension button in the car?

I know it's so stupid but at least u don't have to start it. You just have to have hazards on. Maybe there's a software that can bypass it.

It should have a button in back for lowering down when you trying to load something, doesn’t need engine running That would be nice

Yes it works on all LR 2004 > . It require programming your remote fobkey with a simple switch on ignition. Flip the button to “ offroad“ and keep it there untill you hear a “ chime“ sound. Set
