Hi - you can either live with the gap or change the bumper. I am considering producing a "gap filler strip" panel - thoughts ?

powerfulukltd it would leave the change alot easier, quicker and cheaper thats for sure! Especially if you are fond of the more subtle pre-facelift fog lights too

we have got the filler strip designed and sent off for quotes - could be a few months till we get in stock through ! The advantage would be a conversion needing no painting !

I just like to say a massive thank you to everyone !!! I've got a LR3 & was told my a local so called Land Rover repair centre here in Swansea , if I want those lights I'd have to have a hole new wiring loom​ once again thank you very helpful team

Like you i get frustrated by "fake experts" we are not experts but we are in the lucky position that you guys out there buy parts from our online shop and this allows us to buy cars and try stuff you cant do if you need to use your car everyday... its our way of saying thank you for buying our parts. great video i have just got a 2011 discovery 4 with xenon now if i put side lights on i get the fairy lights but on the bottom right of the lights i have a chrome bulb which does nothing do you know if this is a cornering lamp or is there a way to enable these thanks again great vid

Do they not make headlights that are Identical to the 2014 that can fit in the 2011 without any gaps or misfits?

Can the CCF file be changed by going through the display or is it a case of getting specialist software to change it? My Dad has just bought a Halogen disco 4 and wants to upgrade to the Xenon's

Hi the xenon won't work due to current draw too high on xenon. You can add a relay to solve this or change Ccf through software

Would the2010 D4 bi-xenon headlights work on a D3 with bi-xenon? What do you think? And would you have a grill that would fit? 🤔 Hope to hear from you ty

WRC 123 yes the grill has to be changed as the lights are a different shape. It is getting the DRL light to work as the 2014 lights are going on a 2007.

I've just bought a 2016 conversion with xenon drl lights there's xenon in already will it plug and play or will I need to code it so too speak .. Cheers great channel 👍👍

Hi - the xenon light will be OK but you may need to turn on the DRL with the code - try it first.

Hi I make an upgrade of headlamps 2014 to 2016 code the dlr signature and work, but the yellow light of dashboard of adjust the headligt moving don't go off, on gap tool tell no messages from headlights, how can I get this warning off because everything seems to work only the adjust height of headlights not

yes you can but you need to change the grille and front bumper also. Or you could use our "easy facelift kit" see this video that explains more kzread.info/dash/bejne/fWitx86BmcKYgco.html

Just put halogen face lift lights on a 2013 Disco 4. Main beam flash does not work unless the head lights are on? Blue light comes on the dash and they clunk but no light. Comparing the pins on both types of light the face lift has different pins to the old one. Any ideas?

Hi Simon - this is an interesting one. The old headlights had a bulb for low beam and bulb for high beam. The new headlights have one bulb for both - it has a "curtain" flap solenoid that covers the top of the beam for the low beam pattern... when the high beam is activated the solenoid fires and lifts the curtain creating the full beam pattern. When you flash high beam you will hear the solenoid firing but as the low beam bulb is not illuminated then you do not get any light. There needs to be a diode from high beam to the low beam bulb to fire the bulb up. I could look at making this loom with diode in

@@L663 it's like it's just not getting any power to the bulb when the head lights are off. But the blue light on the dash and 'curtain' flap are working. Let me know if you make a solution!

Probably not - the AFS had an extra module i believe

It states on your wedsite that to fit these to an early discovery 4 model that the wings also need changed but that does not seem to be the case here?

Or maybe he is just repairing a crashed model and the new type headlights are actually cheaper that the old ones ( not sure why but they are ).... are you sure you comments are not based on your own insecurities ?... just a thought ?

powerfulukltd nothing wrong with swapping your headlights for better looking ones! Or you could change to a year or two younger model and pay an extra £20k for them 😂 oh, and that bloody start/stop BS

Strange Reviews its none of your business what I do with my car? Just don't try belittling people here. Nobody is telling you to not put the offroad pack onto your car because it changes the look and function of it, just like these headlights
