you might think I’m crazy, I have a Chevy Silverado 2500 HD with the service body on the back that I have converted into a small camper. The tires that I have on my truck will go from 50 to 80 psi. Because of the weight of my truck right now when it’s empty being almost 8800 pounds, I keep my tires at 60 psi roughly. So I will be installing a 6 gallon pancake compressor behind where the passenger seat is supposed to go. The passenger seat by the way is in the back of the truck so I have a comfortable chair to sit in, but yes I’m using a standard 6 gallon pancake compressor that’ll go up to 150 psi in my truck to fill my suspension and my tires. Just an idea. That will also allow me to run some air tools.

I use a pure synthetic oil in my Turbo charged truck and don't worry about exact mileage changing it.

Yeah!! Those Coasties know how to get it done! From engine work to cooking! Hmmm I need to do my Lady a surf and turf! Be safe!

I just discovered your channel this morning and have been binge watching, I love your guys attitude. I was stationed at Ft Gordon twice back in the day, and used to go to Clarks all the time. I installed a Fumoto valve on my 6.4 to make it easy to change the oil. A couple of oil diapers and a slow hand, I do not have to use a catch basin at all. I have used the valves on a motorhome, Grand Cherokee, and several 1500's and now my 2500, never had an issue. Good luck, stay safe guys.

Even though you're no longer in a Promaster like the old days (we have a 2019 Zion), I still love watching your videos and often pick up something to use, try, or stay away from. For example, our daughter lives in Bend and as I mentioned, we have a Zion with H Series lithiums. We'll be replacing them in the near future so learned about Bend Battery from you guys. That's a biggie! Well, today, was a little tidbit. I like stopping at Valvoline for oil changes since they have a pit and I don't have to worry about where they put the floor jacks. Had it done recently but didn't reset the "Oil Change Required" message. Didn't dawn on me it would be as simple as key in ignition but not start engine, press accelerator 3 times to the floor, then turn key off. Thanks for the rec to search for the easy fix!

Thanks!! We loved our 2016 Zion. So many great adventures! The confidence in our entire battery system couldn’t be greater after the work Bend Battery did. Couldn’t be happier with our Battleborn batteries!

My Dodge Ram 6.7 diesel reset for oil change is, with ignition on slowly depress throttle 4 times.

ages ago, Fram had this quick drain adapter that screws in place of the oil drain bolt Sadly, it looks like Fram discontinued it but a different company, Valvomax makes one that's just as easy (but better made) to use and they also have disposable drain bags might be an idea if you have to change oil on the road again in the future (the drain bags stores flat too so easy to keep one around since I know space is a premium in the camper) also..... Pistol! 😍

We have the viair air compressor. It’s powerful, only thing it attaches to the battery connection s. Lil pain in the but. It works great!

Great x 3. We have the same Viair. Would be super simple to attach to batteries in that huge RAM engine compartment.

I prefer to do my own maint, but certainly not in the rain without my own supplies. Life on the road throws you a curve now and again...good job!

You're brave! Last time I changed oil, it was a huge mess! From now on, it's off with camper (if even in a parking lot!). Walmart has my oil most the time and filter. They even allow you to provide the products. In Fairbanks we had to run to Napa for a filter. We do carry an extra filter. Replaced our air cleaner with K&M. Wash, dry, continue on. Look for a small 12v air pump. I've had one for a few decades that goes to 250 psi; slowly. Nothing fancy. Safe journey with this weather. Last 16 hrs of wind & rain. Flooding some roadways.

Check into Viair compressor for RV ‘s I have one for 2017 Fuse and moved it to my Jeep Wrangler to inflate after going off road they have a psi up to 150

If you already have Dewalt cordless tools, get the Dewalt tire inflator …..excellent and goes to 80 psi no problem . If not De Walt, you may have Milwaukee which also makes a nice one

Any more, I am reluctant to work on these newer vehicles. What I really want is a 1970’s Ford 4x4 pickup with straight six engine and 4 speed manual gearbox. That is a rig I can work on! You two adapt to every situation out on the road with a grace that truly impresses. I’m guessing you guys are settled in Florida for the Holidaze?! I hope you have a joyful Christmas! Our plan is to spend Christmas at home, just the two of us and our cat. We’ll hunker in and have a quiet, peaceful Holidaze! I hope you both have a Merry Christmas! Carey On!

An oil change is about all I can do anymore. Yup we are in Florida and will be getting together with friends for Christmas. A couple of fellow nomads we have spent several Christmases with. Merry Christmas!

Hi there, I was hoping I could request a video. A 1 year review of the Cirrus 820 truck camper. The good and the bad. I've been thinking of possibly getting a cirrus and follow the facebook page and I know some have problems with the Alde system working in cold weather and the windows of the TC popping out is another issue. Have you guys had any warranty work done? Also would love to hear all the positives too. Love the Cirrus truck camper layout and features. Thanks ,Jenny 🙂

Oil seems to be the root of many disasters these days. Local and global. But humans can adapt and fix problems at the last minute. Then you deserve a good meal and can look forward to new destinations. Okay...This was a bit too solemn from this guy.
