Buddhism has no religion. Everyone can feel the spiritual life which we are gifted by the nature. We are always lost about what we are cling to. If we don't catch anything from our mind, you also will feel that relaxation. 🙏

Freedom's Life with natural meditation

A monk life is a very difficult life even for people who live in poor Asian countries. I have great reverence for these western monks who live in austerity in third world countries. It's so difficult for me to follow just the mere 5 precept but the Theravada monks has to adhere to 226 Vinnaya rules. Even though I am an Asian but I am ashamed of myself because these Caucasian monks has more faith in Dharma than me. Many times, I wanted to give up my life as a laity and join a monastery but couldn't muster enough courage to do it.

(Depending on the branch of religion) monks dedicate their lives to achieving enlightenment and escaping the rebirth cycle. Some dedicate their lives to a deity and spend their lives worshiping to gain enlightenment or a closer connection to their god/s. It’s less of a community thing, but many non-monks gift the monks food as a form of prayer in itself, and it gives them a change to start their day with a good act too.
