Oh, Jim, I think the world DOES need comedians. They bring laughs. Keeps anxiety in check! 🇨🇦

James (as he was called) was my classmate in the 90's in a monologue class. We hung out and used to spend time in diners in Manhattan (Moonstruck Diner was the dig) talking about show biz and acting and stuff. I remember when he was drilling away at his comedy performances and auidtioning for commericalss all the time.. He is an example of those who work their ass off to keep sticking at something until it finally pays off. I'm of the example of those who found it difficult to get out their comfort zone. Hence I didn't succeed. He did becuause he constantly put himself out of his comfort zone and was focused and determined.

My favorite comedian. Love him! Thanks Lewis for having Jim on your show. Love how he is just so down to earth. He and his wife and family are so honest and not afraid to be vulnerable.

How can you not love Jim Gaffigan. This was such a great interview. So warm, inviting, and honest.

I love this kind of personal and intimate interviews. Jim, the world needs you. Especially during hard times, comedy is so helpful to cheer up people, even if it's just for a short while, it's very therapeutic to be able to smile and forget about our troubles.

Listening to what Jim Gaffigan had to say about greatness, I thought of all the unsung heroes who are committed to comforting others, whether they be loving parents looking after children, loving caregivers looking after strangers or animals in distress...so many greats out there whose loving sacrifice makes the world a better place.

SUCH a great interview! Love Gaffigan's comedy, but now I really appreciate him as a person and an inspiration! Great questions, Lewis!

This is the best interview I’ve seen in years. When I was in high school, oh so long ago, I would ‘lay out’ (maybe this is a Florida thing…. No judging!) long enough to get a sunburn on my face before any oral presentations so people wouldn’t know my face was so red from embarrassment or anxiety or whatever that was. So relatable! Such awesomeness in this conversation . Thank you both… great questions and insightful and thoughtful answers.

Jim Gaffigan has a high social IQ, is a great comedic writer, and a talented actor. It's interesting how many comedians seem to so easily drift into dramatic cinema.

A very kind man! I understand what he went through in some aspects as my son went through brain surgery and it's affects. Terrifying experience and hoping for continued recovery and connection in your family.

I LOVE, Jim gaffigan!!! I think it may be on my bucket list to see him, this year. ... if we are going to be able to do that ... maybe I should say, next year, also! He has made me laugh, and look at things lighter, in life, ...so many times, through the years!

it is so nice to have a clean comedian...filthy nasty dirty talk has kind of gone out of style..we have women comedians that are beyond vulgar and it is not funny any more...back in the fifties nobody swore with the "f" word and it got attraction in the 60's..now everyone uses it all the time so now it is pasay...
