As Dusk Falls is a phenomenal game to play with the chat. It’s a branching narrative game that hooks up to your stream so the chat can actually vote on what option to choose. Then the game allows you to override the chat’s choice if you don’t like it.

Little tip for you Cris: when given the option to rewind even little mistakes, take it. Or at least think about it more. Like the football hitting the girls head or destroying Chloe’s snow globe. Because you’re not just rewinding to fix the mistakes, you’re rewinding to change people’s perception of Max which could later help you in the game; OR it could hurt you… depending on your actions.

The music is for me a big part of this game experience. So bad copyrights exist :(

Ppl always thing LIS 2 and LIS - True Colors are the same... I think Simply would enjoy LIS 2 more, based on the fact that Detroit was her fav in 2022!!

You have the choice to not rewind if you don't want to, the thing that appears is just an indication to say that you can do it at this moment (if I'm not mistaken)

Simply So Logical predicting the whole story with her analytical brain

Please look into Firewatch! It’s a relatively quick game (10-ish hours I think?) but it has such a cool atmosphere and really leaves you in thought at the end of the game.

Hey Cristine have you tried playing the games with your mouse and keyboard? I always found it easier to navigate the camera angles with my mouse and it might be easier for you than with the controller, just a suggestion :) but if you’ve already done and tried that, all good! I’m excited for you to play this game for the first time!

A lot of people get confused when trying to hide from Chloe’s step dad. I know I did. I think in the end I didn’t hide and blamed Chloe lol

If you want more branching narrative games, you might enjoy Tell Me Why or Twin Mirror (both by the Life is Strange developers~). As Dusk Falls is also a recent one that looks cool!

Genuinely would recommend holding off on that one, the chat will not be fair (they will backseat hard with that game) and the gameplay is a bit harder when she hasn’t played bullet-hell games Try looking for games that introduce concepts well.

Game recommendation: West Hunt! I just saw some gameplay from another streamer (Chris Melberger) and it was so fun to watch. Steam says you can play with 1-6 people: some are "outlaws" who walk around a town trying to mess with stuff, and some are "sheriffs" who try to catch them. The trick is that a bunch of NPCs are also walking around the town doing things, so the sheriffs have to identify the outlaws and the outlaws have to try to blend in and not get caught. It's mostly about observation and the only gaming skill required is some simple mouse and keyboard presses to move around and do tasks. I think it could be fun for you and or Ben/Jen/Saf/whoever else you wanted to bring in! p.s. So hyped for the data stream!

I'm just playing life is strange myself for the first time after being a fan for years! It's gonna be nice to watch your gameplay while playing it myself

Not a huge fan of the OG Life is Strange but I hope she plays Life is Strange 2. I loved watching Jenna & Julien play it.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. Enjoy playing it for the first time 😊

Really excited for this one! Although I was really hoping you’d play Life is Strange 2… the story is much more interesting and complex. It’s the best in the LIS series by far so I hope you play it at some point!

I'm still hoping almost a year later that Cristine will play life is strange 2 , I don't know if she ever said if she will or not, I'm not too invested in her other gaming live streams

Cristine, I feel like you would really enjoy the Sherlock Holmes games! Crimes and Punishments is pretty good but Devil's Daughter is my personal favorite. You essentially solve crimes and there's no real combat mechanics in the game, so it'd be perfect!! It's also quite challenging as the cases aren't all easy to solve!

oh man i forgot how frustrating this game is to watch. im glad im watching someone who can be equally frustrated at the game!!

Life is strange 2 is a very good game as alternative! It's a different game than the ones you played already (many ppl think LIS2 is the same as true colors) and in my opinion has the best storyline. You should consider playing it :)

I'm a bit late for this but I think you'd like 'Her Story'. I think its suited to the gameplay you like and is centred around a crime mystery. The creator came out with a new game Immortality last year which is fantastic. But Her Story is a great one to start with. However it's only 3 h so you'd probably finish it in one stream.

There must have been some miscommunication... as someone from Oregon... you don't pronounce the "gon" like "gun" it's pronounced like "gen" like how you'd say it in "genjutsu"

No it fixed itself. Right after the streak ended, it said it was 3:36:something long, but when the video loaded, it was only 2 hours long

Cris with story driven games like this please pay attention to what the characters r saying, ik the story is kinda cringe but u miss a lot of context or prompts on what to do next and then get confused 2 mins later, love your streams but plsssss pay attention

I’ve never played this game and never watched a play through of this game and it is so damn cringey, I don’t think I’d be able to play through the whole thing with the internal monologue of a teen girl going the whole time.

SHE and Chloe were friends...., not 'her and Chloe'. When in doubt, remove the 'and _______'. You wouldn't say 'Her was friends....', you would say 'She was friends......' Therefore, 'she and Chloe were friends' P.S. I know being a grammar-nazi is irritating. I'm only posting it on the off chance that someone might be helped who A. cares about speaking/writing correctly, and B. didn't know that little trick.
