I love Cristine for being so logical (ha) in her everyday life and her most of her content, but MarioParty is not the place for logic! Just have fun! She seemed so stressed sometimes 😅

In the Animal Crossing DLC Cristine can go to work! She'll love that, and I'll love watching her play

Hmm .. what if the polishes were released in same way like books. There is first edition without saying limited edition, so everyone who got first edition can feel special 😁 and everything after that can be 2nd and 3rd edition if you decide to release it again for any reason.

Regarding the limited edition issue, I like how you’re really transparent, I think you can use limited edition even if there’s a few runs of it over time, if it was me I would label them with v1, v2 etc so even each run in itself would be limited and would mean if there’s was a small change in formulation for one edition it wouldn’t matter. Or you could maybe label them the year like got cake 2022 edition. I also think you could just say it is not part of the permanent collection and may or may not come back another year. Whatever you do we will still support you and still love the polishes we manage to get our hands on.

This livestream was so fun! I’d also recommend you play Overcooked 2 or a Jackbox night :)

I just started playing overcooked 2 with my boyfriend as a total non-gamer it's kind of hard and very fast paced but it's a lot of fun!

I feel like “Limited Edition” is a pretty standard phrase for indie nail polish. Just the fact that you keep so many unique polishes in stock Year round is amazing and impressive. I understand wanting to get away from using that wording, though. Personally, I’m not really a customer that gets mad about wording. Of course I’m a little bummed that I’ll probably never get the Purple Or Blue Holo Flakie Toppers. But I’m realistic and understand that you can’t have everything you want in life 😂. It is what it is. I know you want to try your best to please everyone but at the end of the day you have to do what makes sense from a business perspective, and thats totally fine. Someone will always find something to get butt-hurt over. It’s impossible to please everyone. With that said here are a couple ideas I thought sounded more neutral: “Rotating Stock”, “One of a Kind Run” (opening it to future runs but acknowledging that it might be different if it comes back out of the vault). 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maybe you could name the polishes by the year you release them, for example, Got Cake (2020 edition). This way, your customers will expect that the polish is sort of limited to the year 2020 only, but in case you want to relaunch it in the future, you can re-release it as "Got Cake (2022 edition)".

Not advice. Just my two cents... I absolutely trust in what Holo Taco releases. Knowing that Cristine puts it to the test and wants the best is awesome. I imagine it is difficult to want to keep customers happy, but I also want to Holo Taco to also be what Cristine wants to create and release to the world! Not just what some customers want. But I understand it's a difficult thing to navigate. Thank you Cristine for everything you do! From streaming to Holo Taco!

The chart shows exactly when Ben screwed Cristine over 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Also, the word Seasonal sounds fine to me. I don’t know how’s that’s difficult for some to understand. Or you can just say “as supply chain premits availability”.

I’m really happy two limited edition polished are coming back for those who couldn’t get them. I have Everything Taco, but I’m missing Got Cake. Even if I had both of them I’d still be happy that others can get them again. Also I would greatly appreciate a warning if things are going to be taken away so I have the chance to grab an extra if it’s one of my favorites. I get that makes them sell more quickly, but since Holo Taco is basically the only thing I collect, I am always sure to order quickly once something launches. Those are just some of my thoughts.

If you ever want to make things “limited edition” or if you want to stop keeping things in stock permanently, I really like the idea of saying that a polish is available until they sell out and then they will go into the Holo Taco vault when they do sell out. The vault gives you the flexibility to bring things back as you wish. And it doesn’t make polishes seem too exclusive or permanent. I also think from a consumer standpoint, that gives me hope that one day I could get that polish again if you chose to bring it back or let us vote again on what to bring out of the vault. Also, some advice for my other Holo Taco fans is to purchase nail swatch sticks to basically document and preserve every Holo Taco nail polish. So even if that polish goes into the vault or goes out of stock, you still have a swatch to refer to or reflect back on.

One suggestion for the seasonal polishes (as I understood it, it means if they sell out, they're gone for this season; you'll try to bring them back next year; the formula might be different though, as it's reliant on ingredients): Call them an edition, like "Plumb Luck, 2021 edition" That way, people should be more aware of what seasonal means and that the next edition might not exactly be the same.

I think the issue with using the word seasonal is that people could think that it means it will come back for example every spring or every winter, and then be upset when it’s not possible to bring it back. People more invested in the brand and Cristine and her content would understand it, but if someone is a more casual and a “regular consume” who doesn’t follow the brand might not.

I just watched the podcast where they take the cat personality tests for Menchie and Zyler and Ben asks Cristine if she doesn’t think it’s gross when she lets Menchie lick her spoon or bowl that she’s eating off, and here’s Ben trying to get Menchie to drink out of his bottle 😂

Some language ideas for you to workshop: For polishes you plan on having in stock all the time (cremes, linear holo, top/base coats, etc.): staple, fundamental, principle, key. For polishes that may have an initial limited run, which may/may not return in the future: periodic, auxiliary, reserve, contigent, conditional, indefinite. I like conditional. "This is one of our conditional polishes, as restocks are contigent on supply and demand." Its clear, but leaves you open to make decisions as necessary. Are the conditions right to bring a polish back? Is there demand? Is there supply? Is the formula cost effective? Whatever conditions you want to place, done. You can also choose to upgrade or downgrade polishes between the categories as needed.

I listen to your streams or podcasts during work, my job is really stressing me out lately and I'm not far from burnout. Listening to you and Ben helps me relax a little bit.

Also: Instead of 'discontinue' a shade you can *"Retire"* shades... they can always come out of retirement for a 'New Addition'. To keep fans from revolting, tell fans before you do the final manufacture run, that the shade will be retiring. Maybe even create a banner across the thumbnail.

Idk if you’ll see this comment or if it will even help you but maybe the people who do want to see when things are last chance will only be able to see it if they opt-in to the specific email or text notification where they can get an email or text to let them know when an item is getting discontinued so not everyone has to see it, only three people who really want to know. And put a warning before people opt-in saying that you absolutely DO NOT want people to opt-in if there’s any chance they’ll get even a little anxious at limited edition items. Most people probably won’t listen to it but at least people who entertains and know themselves enough can not do it. And then people could also opt out if they notice themselves getting anxious. Anyways thanks for all you do and all the care and thought you put into your business and your customers! Regardless of whether you see this or whether or not you’ll take this into consideration I know you’ll do what’s best for us and Holo Taco! 🥰
