Life Inside Bangladesh's Old Capital City 🇧🇩

Lively Old Dhaka is known for historic buildings like the Mughal-era Lalbagh Fort, set amid green lawns, and Dhakeshwari Mandir, a 12th-century Hindu temple. Period furnishings are on display at the Ahsan Manzil Museum, a vast palace with a pink facade. Street vendors sell breads and sweets, while Shankhari Bazar is a popular spot to find bangles, spices, and textiles. River boat trips depart from the Sadarghat area

The Chummery house or Chamerli house was built in Dhaka in 1920 during the British Raj. The building was located opposite the Dhaka High Court. The house was originally built as houses for single British officials based in Dhaka. Since then the building has been a women's dormitory of Dhaka University, later being used as the headquarters of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission. The building was finally handed over to the Centre for Integrated Rural Development of Asia and the Pacific in 1985 and was subsequently known as the CIRDAP House. And Dhaka metro train or rolling stock is from Kawasaki and Mitsubishi Japan. It's similar to the Japanese metro train.

This two-storey building is an example of vernacular architecture of the late Georgian style. The walls are made of exposed burnt clay brick with mud and lime mortar. The roof structure is made of timber truss and covered over by wood shingles. The house was built in 1911 to house bachelor civil officers of the British administration. Some major changes have been made internally to adopt to the needs of the new office programme. However, externally it has been more or less faithfully restored. The roof had wood shingle cover unsuitable for the local climate. It has been replaced by specially manufactured asbestos tiles, maintaining the original visual character of the roof.

Take a journey, immerse yourselves, and gain true understanding before passing judgment. Of all the youtubers that visited Bangladesh I feel like you guys are just there to throw mud. You went through something terrible with the bus ride and I'm really sorry for that. 3:50 Why Japan is so helpful and so friendly to Bangladesh? It's because of a Bangladeshi Judge 'Radha binod pal' who was borned in Kustia, Bangladesh and helped Japan as a nation to stand up after world war 2. I'm providing a link below. You can have better perspective from that. After that Japan had a chance to live again and therefore very grateful to Bangladesh with an unconditional friendship since then. kzread.info/dash/bejne/in6dqdyyetLJpbg.htmlsi=E2YOcff8-x9GY0cu

Before visiting a country you should research and analyse where should you get what you exactly want to see Dhaka is not a tourist place else you should try Sylhet Chittagong Sundarban Bandarban Kaptai lake, Rangamati Tanguar haur etc as you know Bangladesh has 6 season some places are good for specific seasons also then you will get some positive vibe but if you don’t have any plan or route map it’s kinda floating middle of the sea without rudder. If you want to visit Dhaka then you have Gulshan Banani Dhanmondi which are place of artificial beauty like skyscraper commercial buildings nice architectural buildings fancy restaurants lavish hotel expensive cars etc so first have a aim then travel

Japan and Bangladesh have special economic partnership dating back to the early 1970s. Lots of Japanese and Bangladeshi businesses have ties. Just as an example Japan imported about $1.72 billion of goods from Bangladesh in 2022. Apparel, such as clothes and shoes, made up over 90% of the imports. Japan's exports to Bangladesh totaled about $2.57 billion, of which roughly 30% was iron and steel.
