Oh thank you so much for letting me know. I obviously haven’t been keeping up with her work. What an utter disappointment 🤮 The other two books (intuitive eating and anti-diet) have all the same information!! Highly encourage to get those or as you say, get the book second hand.

i have never come across another person who has made me feel the way you do whilst watching your content. you bring such peace and familiarity, it’s an absolute gift to have. i struggle with chronic depression and also have adhd, and you have been the only other person i’ve seen on this platform in my 16 years of youtube who has brought such beauty in all you and be so grounded. i starting watching back before when this was a shared channel, and i feel so grateful i’m 26 and i weirdly feel i’ve grown up while watching you grow into the beautiful being you are. thank u !!! much love from Perth, Boorloo

As a 35 year old watching from England I just wanted to say hi, I’ve been a long time subscriber now and not commented. I have little time for self-care at present as a Mum of two young children and trying to be more conscious with the ‘content’ I consume so it’s interesting noticing who I am still drawn to! I think your personality will really suit becoming a counsellor/therapist! Always find your videos both soothing and inspiring! With love and luck, a friend from afar! 💞🍃💫

I’m a couple years away from 30 but honestly looking forward to my thirties, I feel like each passing year teaches me valuable lessons (and intuitive eating becomes easier too! 🎉). Also, idk if you’ve heard of Dr.Russell Barkley, he’s an ADHD specialist and sort of led the charge in getting ADHD recognized as an actual structural brain difference and different way of being as opposed to just a quirky hyper little boy trait. He had a couple outdated beliefs in 2012 but he has done a ton of research and has a video called “This is how you treat ADHD based on science Part of 2012 Burnet lecture” that helped me a lot. Like you mentioned, even when you “do everything right” sometimes you can’t exercise and protein-breakfast your way out of ADHD but his tips and explanations really help (despite being targeted towards parents of adhd children lol). For example we need a pretty frequent source of glucose for our brains and he recommends keeping a sweet drink on hand (this one comes naturally to me but years of ED due to being raised as a girl made me fight it, rip), and electrolytes get imbalanced more easily so he says a sugary electrolyte drink would be a 2-for-1, and to sip on it throughout the day. That alone has helped sooo much with brain function and less crashes/distraction. Anyway sorry for the essay length comment lmao you’ve maybe already heard of him, my bf’s psych recommended the video, I just love sharing good quality ADHD info with others because there’s a lot of stuff floating around that is potentially harmful. Glad you’d got a psychiatrist on hand! Love the video you’ve been putting out, they always make me crave a croissant and cappuccino for some reason hahaa ☀️ 🥐

Omg the adhd burnout thing, watching this video rn sideways in bed trying not to fall asleep because I do want to sleep at night but also brain-no-work today. I'm one week away for first draft of masters thesis and have been forcing stuff out of myself for 1.5 months most days and now PMS is hitting, birthday in a few days (hello bday depresso) and my advisor just did a bunch of corrections that just make me wanna cry. I did just make pancakes and earlier took out my recyclables and felt like a superhero, but that was it, all I could manage. And haven't done any corrections based on the corrections and I have less than a week to manage it all and plus have my period and my bday ;((( adhd nightmare

@@nina.montagne I only got diagnosed after restarting. I found it really frustrating in the beginning. Even though I felt that I had grown a lot since my last uni experience I still had many of the same troubles. After I learned that the issues were caused by adhd and not just me being “bad at studying” I have started to be more gentle with myself which helps a lot! Im trying medication for the first time hopefully next week.. Btw. Im training for my first half marathon and did my first 17k run on the day you postes about your 50k experience
