Difficult to answer in one line. There are people who takes the course work lightly and sleep properly. On the other hand there are students who takes the pressure and work hard to complete the deadline. They used to sleep less when pressure is more. I can share my one, i used to sleep 6 hours a day

@@tyrion2965 Nope, it is very difficult to fail in any subject at IITs/IISc, If you do minimal study only, you will pass the subject. But your overall grade will hamper.
