sir i want to ask u one thing that i have done my 11th & 12th in pcb i. e. no mathematics... and i am going to join btech biotechnology or food technology this year becoz these are the only option left for me at present.. and no other btech branches... so i have decided that i will join my course... and will prepare for GATE(CS) side by side...and will try to switch to MTECH CS for my post graduation... the only thing which keeps bothering me is that since i have done my 11th 12th in PCB and not in PCM so will it create any problem for getting admission into IIT BOMBAY(if i score well in gate cs) and further in placements(that is the later part) . I have read the information brochure of mtech cs admissions at iit bombay.. and it was nowhere written about any criteria from 12th...the required thing which was there was that one has to have a BTECH in any discipline... also only one condition was there that those candidates who will apply through Msc Mathematics and not through btech must have had mathematics at 10+2 level, and that's it, nothing like this was written for btech... **So I Was Just Skeptical That Will i have any problem in admission to IIT BOMBAY provided the fact that i had "PCB without maths" in 11th & 12th and not "PCM"**....Pls reply sir... after such devastating results in neet this year, this thing came as a ray of hope to me.

why he didn't get any offers from iit madras or iit delhi even after securing 186 rank in gate cse at this rank he should get shouldn't he?

No I Didn't got them even though I waited till the last Special Round (the cutoffs for GEN category is quite high)

I am dropper with good preparation but messed up in final day should I take double drop targeting iiitH cse or take admission in gfti cse and prepare for gate cse my ultimate aim isto get very good in cse and cp and get good job in cse so that I can go for ms in quant finance or mathematical finance+ computer science in some foreign country.

Bahat rare hota hai ki hft me Mtech ko job mile. They prefer mostly BTechs from IITs
