Ariana Satruc you probably have one by now because you wrote this 3 years ago lol, but some breeders are crazy! I was denied 2 places to get my hedgehog, and the questions on the questionnaire were crazy! But i have my girl now, lol

You might want to change that wheel into something more spinal cord friendly.

I really love hedgehogs and watch this video again and again. People are asking a lot about if it is legal or not to own an hedgehog. There are three or four hedgehogs living around my apartment (they are visible at night with strange noises) and that's amazing to see these animals adapted to the city environment here in Istanbul. You can love hedgehogs however owning and separating them from their environment doesn't seem right to me.

Wild hedgehogs are different from domestic ones. Unlike some animals, African Pygmy Hedgies are born in captive, and aren't taken from the wild. If you did put one in the wild, or it bred, they would die, because of the cold, and from hibernation. So if you like them, don't feel bad about getting one! Just do some research 😊 If they're legal. of course lol

I love your video. It's the best! My son owned a hedgehog. Poki was the coolest hedgehog ever. She stole our hearts away. Our precious girl almost lived 5 years. We miss her so much. Watching u video reminded me of Poki. Seeing a hedgehog curl in a ball is funny when u hear the cute little 'poof' sound they make. Then u pick them up n they unfurl letting u know they feel safe w you. They feel safe because they love you. 💕

I’ve had hedgehogs for a little over 10 years now. A few of mine have been elderly rescues or rescues with major health issues so my heart has been shattered quite a few times over the years, but it’s so worth it. They’re amazing little quilled beings and companions and the love and joy they add to your life is so worth the heartbreak when they have to cross the Rainbow Bridge. ❤️🦔

Lol my hedgie *Draco* is the curious one. He goes everywhere and poops everywhere, Not to mention I have to wake up every 2 hours to make sure he isn't freezing to death/sweating to death. But overall its worth it :) I love him

Awww hedgehogs are so cute ❤❤❤ I love them so much and I wish I could have one as a pet but I won't because they don't live very long and it would be so sad when it dies. Also I don't really know how to take care of them that much and I would want it to be happy and healthy, and I don't think I could care for it good enough for it to stay healthy. However you take such good care of your hedgehogs 😃 They are so adorable and they look so happy. Aww 🙂

If they see so poorly they don't judge by looks, so being ugly wouldn't matter. Yet all hedgehogs are freaking adorable. Humans see clearly and do judge somewhat or a lot by appearance, clearly being pritty means more offspring, yet we can't compete with hedgehogs. Nature in a nutshell.

My Hedgehog ( Guy Man ) was running on his wheel while I watched this! idk, I just wanted to share what we do with him. So in the morning Guy Man Will either be asleep or on his wheel. He'll be on his wheel if he either wants to or we just didn't turn his light on last night. He'll be asleep if he just wants to or we turned his light on that night. If he's on his wheel he'll do that for a few hours. ( Like 4 hours or something ) He'll OBVIOUSLY take breaks to get water or food. After he's done exercising or done sleeping. He'll Sleep. In between his sleep, We'll take him out ( Because he loves being Taken out ) or He'll get food or water. He'll keep repeating, Sleep, Food, Water. Until it's night. Now is the time we take him out AGAIN. Afterwards we put him away after an hour or more. We will turn on his light, To keep him warm and to keep him asleep during the night and not to be on his wheel. Then this just repeats. ( Also, Yes, Guy Man DOES get exercise. We also Upgraded his Cage. If you watch This YT video I made: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iqKLktmGnc6WoJc.html. ( DON'T WATCH THAT VIDEO ) You'll see he has a VERY SMALL CAGE!! We upgraded his cage so now his cage is a Yard long. But I only wanted to share this because I just wanted to tell Ya'll life from MY hedgehogs eyes. Every hedgehog is kind of the same. But every hedgehog has their ways and they are NOT ALL THE SAME!! Also, Don't rely on pet store people! Do your own research before you get a Hedgehog. Well I know this is a HUGE comment to yeeeeeeee. )

I remember having a hedgehog. His name was Hedgie and only had one eye when I got him as a gift from my uncle. Despite the missing eye, he lived about 4 years. I only took him outside when it was time to clean his cage. I also fed him every day and even put mealworms in his bowl once in a while. They really have a short lifespan, so I was not as surprised as I should be when he was feeling his age. I still miss him and wished he had a longer lifespan.

They deal pretty great with the wild in Germany. We only have wild hedgehogs, as far as I know they're forbidden as pets. They love slugs which makes it very usable if one lives close by.
