the video where the hedgehogs were holding onto a pool tube (or whatever its called). is technically abuse. yes, hedgehogs can swim, but it doesnt mean they should. their legs should also be able to touch the bottom. and you could say “oh but they look like theyre having a great time!” but theyre not. its the only thing they can grab onto to survive

Ahem... *inhale* Hedgehogs in real life aren't typically that fast, but since Sonic is now canonically concidered an alien thanks to the evidence of Sonic X and both Sonic movies, it can be theorized that Sonic and the rest of his species all have special, unique powers. Sonic's power just so happens to be super speed. Tails has the ability to spin his tails at a rapid pace so he can fly. Knuckles has superhuman strength. Etc. The explaination for these powers is unknown, but many people believe it has something to do with the master emerald and it's power.
