Bhaiya let's assume that a student whose graduate from iiser and complete PhD from abroad. And after he wants settle in India with his family . So any job opportunities is available in India

You can became professor in IITs, IISERs, NITs, IISc, IIST, ISI, NISER, state univ. Or typicall any science Institute in India, you will have an edge in the selection procedure. You can became scientist in DRDO, ISRO, any CSIR Labs, DST Institutions, DST Labs, R&D of companies, PSUs like HP, etc, ONGC, BARC, etc. There is a lot actually, you can became data scientist, also there are careers relative to science communication and publishing, chemical industries, they look for such people. The only difference is the, you will be place on 1.5-2.5Cr package in abroad, while in India, it will 20-30 lakhs mainly. Until you start your own industry, then the package in unlimited 😉

Top 20 global schools me aata hai bro EPFL, to bahut competitive hota hai, easy to nhi hota. However, IISERs ke bahut saare alumni epfl me hai, so they now know what IISERs are, and we have a very good perception about IISERs and its brilliant students. Hence, relatively easy hota hai, preference milti hai IISER students ko indirectly, but again, this only helps but doesn't guarantee. Depends on lot of other factors like, GPA, research experience and available projects, etc.

Keep trying, my one friend is from VIT, he was able to get Masters Thesis at EPFL and now he is doing his PhD from EPFL. Best wishes. After some time, i will post videos about how to apply, how to make CV, cover letter, etc, then you will get help.

You can get inspire scholarship, for that you need to be eligible for the same, it has conditions like you need to be in top 1% of your respective boards, also you shouldn't have any drop year, etc. Otherwise, there is no other such significant scholarship.

Aim for 180, i would say! Still, it depends on paper, it changes every year. When I was the student, i used to aim for 100% only, then you automatically surpass the bare minimum cutoff.

Cgpa achhi hi hogi(8+) aur stipend takreeban 54k chf hota hai epfl k PhD students ka (aur har saal 1k-2k badta rahta hai)
