@Loh94 : Born in Zuerich, Switzerland I speak Swiss German, German, Italian, and some French. Living and working for 10 years in former Jugoslavjia I am fluent in Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, and some Macedonian/Bulgarian. Married to a Surinamese/ Dutch lady with Indian ancestors. I am fluent in Dutch, and Flams (due to my Grandchildren living in Antwerp) and can manage Afrikaans. With my late wife, I lived 7 years in India and can understand a little bit of Hindi & Urdu, tora, tora only. Now I live in Suriname, South America, and I am improving my Spanish and learning Sranang Tongue, a Surinamese Creole language and just for fun I am learning Swahili, mainly because of the Music. Russian and Arabic are not strange to me, but, I would not say I speak them, rather that I have a feeling for them. Ha, ha, ha NB: I have traveled and worked in 120+ countries, hence, an absolute need. I am 73 years young, but not born yesterday.

as u mentioned, its interesting because recently i've also noticed an increasing trend in more channels making this "how many languages do (place/nationality) speak?" video. the first HMLDYS vids i watched were all by The New Travel channel, then i began noticing that other channels were catching onto this video idea. i actually want to start making these videos myself in my own city as well because my country has tons of immigrants. i wonder if The New Travel was the channel that originally started this trend!

Good video. Regards from Iceland. Native language; Icelandic. Pretty good at English. Can read danish. My german has seriously deteriorated due to neglect and my french has long since evaporated into the ether. But then there are more than 30 years since I left Junior College with my Abitur or Stúdentspróf as we call it in Icelandic. Compared with USA it is equivalent to Associates of Arts/Science degree.

@@claudiaandjan Actually I never got the hang of speaking French, sadly I lét it slide strangt after graduation and my spoken Danish was never excellent but I had much more exposure to Danish so I can read it without difficulty and understand reasonably well on tv shows. Not 100% but reasonably well.
I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. I know a little bit of Italian too! I hope soon I will become fluent in it. I will just learn these five languages, because I think more than that would be too much. kkkk
