I'm an old and not very good surfer so I try to stay out of people's way. I'll pick a spot often inside, start having fun then it seems there's suddenly a crowd LOL! When I lived in the high desert I'd drive all the way to Rincon (spring / summer). On the walk down people would laugh saying "there's nothing there - you're wasting your time) but I'd paddle out just for the exercise. Never failed a set would roll through and when I looked around there were 10 people out! Maybe we have some sort of herd instinct after all?

❤ the surfing segment was excellent. absolute ferocious stylish slaying. everything. the front side snaps (especially that one where the board tail came out of the water and you redirected a vert nose, with such speed, as were the cutbacks, yours are some of the best cutbacks in the whole world of surfing, and your backside snaps are so quick, fierce, powerful, and drivey and its amazing how turned back into the pocket, lip, and white water they are, while you are still able to bring it back forward facing the shoulder with such speed. :)

Love a classic latte but my partner loves a mocha with 2 extra sugars 😩 Carbon board looks good and can’t wait for Hawaii vid, subscribed, ready and waiting! 😆

No way! Are you living full time in SC? I’m off Estrella near the pier & surf Tstreet & the pier here & there :) Maybe I’ll meet you out there as I hardly ever see other ladies. Some times some girl groms from sc surf team though. Also, have a blast on Maui…lived there for 4 years as a kid & body boarded Hooikipa all the time ;)

I hope you catch classic Honaloa . It’s a handful of days that it gets epic . I surfed 2 summer seasons at Maaliea Bay . Lakey could make that freight train right . I would love to see her on a big day there.

Thanks for this Lakey. 1. I drink Stone Creek Coffee, from Wisconsin. I was the third employee when Eric opened his first store in the 90's, while I was in college. I am pretty loyal day in day out. And I use a battle scared and seasoned French Press. The French Press and my Neti Pot and my Timbuk2 bag have travelled the world with me for decades, and look it. 2. And now I gotta try one of those HydroFlask mugs. 3. I think the more you can talk about mobility, the better the world is.

Skimboards been carbon wrapped and vac bagged since at least 2000. Def gives them pop for doing airs on shorebreak and a nice flex on turns. You put that one thru the paces might have to grab one too. What fins you reckon went well w all carbon?

It’s the Myvision Water Bottle Pump. Very basic! We normally use a Berkey though. Hope that helps

The younger girls coming onto the tour seem to be as good or better. ( And have the right personalities that the surf companies want). She deserves a title, hopefully she can pull it off.

We surf ocean side a little but mainly stay around lowers and t-street… and of course when Rincon starts to do it’s thing we head up there for the winter 👌
