A song based on the Hymn of the Komintern ("Hymne der Komintern" / "Kominternlied" ), the first stanza is found in the Hymn of the Komintern
(lit. Translation: "We have brought the best ones to their graves, shredded and shot to pieces and battered bleeding, surrounded by murderers and sent into jail, we were not scared of the executioners wrath)
This one's altered from establishing a "worldwide Soviet Union" into a growing "new peasant and worker's World"
(lit. Translation: "In Russia the worker's weapons have won, they have succeeded, and we will success, its growing, although our enemy doesn't like it)

Auferstanden Aus Ruinen is perfect for a German nation raising out of the horrors of the Third Reich. West Germany should've adopted it to synthesize the two halves of the country and reclaim the German as the language of poets. It's legitimately one of the best anthems in the world and it calls for unity against tyrants and an end to war.

es ist so frustrierend weil der ursprung des Revisionismus noch immer ein Mysterium ist. Sollten Sozialistische Staaten doch eine Gewaltemteilung haben? Ist Soviet demokratie zu horizontal? Wie Garantieren wir weiterhin die Diktatur des Proletariats ohne durch Überzentralisierung die Gleichen fehler wie vorher zu machen? So viele fragen doch keine definitive antwort.

This song was composed by three Germans (who all ended up living long enough to live in East Germany) in 1929. It was translated into Russian for its propaganda value.

@red (speaking of irl MLs) Most of the other Marxist-Leninists I know don't really mean to hate or bully y'all; anarchist's hearts are usually in the right place. A lot of us mostly see it as a phase some must go through before they dare to take the leap to join us. Being an ML has a social cost/taboo, and functioning in a (proper) ML party requires self-reflection, self-criticism and self-discipline, as well as letting go of the hyper-individualist mindset we've grown up with. In a good party this kind of mindset doesn't feel like it's imposed from the top-down, but is something that members require from themselves; people do it because they feel it is necessary for the organization's functioning. It's also why schooling new members is super important, to build that mindset and sense of responsibility. Being ML also won't make you popular with everyone, but out of all attempts at moving beyond capitalism, it appears to be the most resilient against the inevitable reactionary counterattack. There's also something special about knowing you are building on the legacy of hundreds of millions of proletarians who dared to try to build a better world.
