great video, we often use Lidl in Spain, especially for their beer prices, but try to buy our fruit and veg at local markets as its often quite a bit cheaper. Got to say its nice to find someone else who dosent care for potatoes, thought i was the only one in the world🤣

We also have chorizo when in UK. Pasta, chorizo and tomato’s with grated cheese. 😀

Thanks , we also did a shop at Mercadona in Torrevieja. About the same prices but a much more “up market” feel to the shop. 👍😎😀

Yes of course. We will do a roundup of the rally but in short we booked for 76 nights (£14 a night) there are extras to pay like events in the restaurants (€20 / head for 3 course meal inc bottle of wine). Well organised and run there is always something to do and get involved with. Boul, learn Bridge, crafting, walks, cycle rides, dancing, quiz nights etc.

Great idea for a video Steve and Wendy. We did a couple of Aldi shops in Spain on our way down to Portugal - love their bread stick, hummus and the mixed pickle jars🙂. Now in Portugal just done a small Lidl shop so far. How do you fit all that stuff in?!!!😂Hope you continue to have a great time 🙂

Hahaha, that is funny. The only reason is that I didn't go into the shop. If I do go in I'm usually browsing the middle isles to see if there is anything "I can't live without!" hahaha....

Where is Lidl in relation to the campsite Steve

It’s about 5 miles away although there are other supermarkets in the local town of Catral. Dia, HyperB and Consum. Also a small “supermarket” on site at Alannia. There is a Mercadona about 5 miles away too.

We haven't travelled abroad yet in our motorhome,is it easy to arrange? X

Hi Janet Yes it’s pretty easy to do. Things to consider: - 90 day limit - European van insurance - medical insurance - Breakdown insurance - money / Euros - how to get across to Europe Hmm, this feels like we should make a video on this. 😀👍😎 Keep a lookout for that video as we will do it soon.

Hi Janet, we are currently at Alannia Resort Costa Blanca very near to Torrevieja and Alicante. We will soon be going to Granada to visit my brother who lives near to Motril.

Thanks for your comment. We tend to shop is many places including all the supermarkets and markets we can get to. We choose to make videos of what most people seem to be interested in.
