Agreed most ate illegal today but it doesnt diminish that on his day his technique and timing was superb.
That second one would definitely get pinged by other refs, handed on ground no clear release etc
Nice that he actually tries to rip the ball off but lord at least half of those are illegal to today's standards 😂. Side entries, knees on the ground, arms on the floor, not releasing, not first man in the ruck... The last clip is shocking 😂

@@lewispoole5359 in a lot of those clips he's not supporting his own weight/hands on the ground before attacking the ball which is specifically scrutinised since a couple of years.
