To be fair that's usually a stunt man nowadays. Steven has trouble standing up or saying his lines clearly while seated so asking him to flap his arms around is a big ask.

As a Norwegian, I got to say its funny how similar Liam Neeson's demeanor is to Norwegians. Like he is very uncomfortable about bragging, and when asked how he is doing he isn't doing the usual American: "I am great!" or "Awesome!" or whatever. His response is very much like how people his age would respond to such a question in Norway. Great guy by the way. Really like him. I was just struck by the fact that people in Northern Europe have a lot in common despite differences. I have been to Ireland and people there are really awesome. They really take time helping you out. Very easy going when talking to them. One of the absolute nicest people I know in Norway is an Irishman.

Of course it is nice wit complements and appreciation, but it can be uncomfortable when you feel that you are nowhere near as great as people make you into. I have had some measure of success as a writer. And I get people contacting me who seem to think I am way more amazing than I am. One can get hyped up to something you can never live up to. It just gets you thinking that you can only disappoint people from there on. But I guess everybody doing any form of content creation have a massive imposter syndrom. We are just waiting for somebody to call us out. My mother is a journalist who interviewed famous book authors all her life. She has very similar stories. A lot of those great writers have so much self-doubt and insecurities. I think my favorite was Norwegian author Karl Ove Knausgård who had really major success abroad. All these guys in the US wanted to take him on this big road trip and where all fired up about all the cool stuff they were going to do and people he could talk to. They didn't realize that the author was nothing like they hyped him up to. He was not a good conversationalist. He was socially awkward and basically stumbling through life. The great oddsey they thought he'd write ended up as a hilarious piece about how everything went wrong and how his hotel toilet got clogged and his desperate and failed attempts at fixing the problem. It was a very instructive read, because it both demonstrated what an awesome writer he was but also how helpless he often was in the real world.

It is hilarious, we all know female action stars today and they put Seagal to shame! LOL Steven's last 80s hit had a clip of him running, and he literally looked like a waddling duck with tail flipping side to side (his arms do this surreal sideways gait in cadence with his hilarious swishing of his hips as if his stride is stuck in race walking. As the rumor goes, many action directors in the day could not seriously cast Steven (with a straight face) after this scene! Every action star today has that RUN that solidifies the action scenes in the film: Tom Cruise looks bad ass when he runs, Gina Carano, Dwayne The Rock, Jason Statham, Jackie Chan, even Vin Diesel THEY ALL RUN in that cool manner. Steven, it ruined his career in the 80s. Hollywood directors could not take his aikido seriously because of his goofy run gait.

For a guy at least 65 years old I believe that this man Steven Seagal is simply a very angry and frustrated man. People would line up to shake his hand if only he shared a smile and a mellow word.

Most people see Liam Neeson and say "Qui-Gon!" I see him and I think "DARKMAN!" "RA'S AL GHUL!" "HANNIBAL SMITH!"
