No way. Stones Roses are great but there are thousand bands in the world (that is a very big place) which could be considered as better than the Stone Roses. The Beatles are among them. But this is my taste. You have yours and I respect it. By the way, this type of comparative thinking is something a don't like so much. Completely agree I love the opening guitar riff then Liam’s voice kicks in, I think it’s my favourite album. John wrote it with Liams voice in mind and I can tell he did..💙🎸⭐

John Squire deserves this recognition, one of the greatest guitarists of an entire generation but sadly unknown to many due to The Stone Roses dramatic rise and sudden fall in the early 90's.

John Squire has still got it. What a guitar genius he is, one cool man aswell. Favourite music video I’ve seen in years also

I love it. This could be a lost 90s song. They got the sound down perfectly.

Also, the mixing engineer who mixed this song is genius! He managed to put Liam's voice in a space of its own despite all the busy parts of the song and with a magic touch. This is nothing but an amazing collaboration. As usual, Liam's voice has great attitude and confidence.

Ian Brown looked cool but his voice is atrocious. I saw the Stone Roses at Glasgow Green (a gig Brown cites as one of their best) and I couldn't believe how off key he was. The rest of the band were amazing. I remember wandering out of the tent mid gig and just taking photos for a while. I later blagged a way back to their hotel and spoke to Mani and Reni, and got a shot of Brown in a lift doing his standard monkey face of the period. I have a roll of black and white prints of that day, stuck in a bag with diaries from my twenties which I'm somehow scared to open. I guess it's because I remember the gist of how I felt then, and how disappointed my young self would be with me now. It's all about courage. I knew that then and I know that now, but I still fail to be courageous.

Keep the dream alive vibes... with the falling down drum loop, classy, psycodelic, chill I really like this tune!

This was better than I expected. A really solid collaboration between two amazing artists. Has a really fresh vibe but also a throwback to that 90s vibe. Psychedelic rifts and almost a Kula Shaker ‘K’ feel to it. Looking forward to the album, I think it’ll be awesome.

Liam sounds amazing!

I know everyone is thinking about John and Liam, but when I hear the song so roses, I just think about how much I miss Reni. It seems totally unfair to me that the best drummer that the 90s generation gave us only has two albums and a few singles. You should invite him to play with you guys.

Another masterpiece, Liam you're the Sun that still shines in this music world that otherwise would be very grey without you, this kind of music really is a colourful rainbow, very rare nowadays, thank you very much, and the collab with Squire is wonderful. 👍✌💖

@@miamilanto be fair it’s still better sounding than the pop stars and “rappers” who use it. If you ever want a laugh, look up rappers without auto tune
