When reconnecting the wire to the new drain pump the brown wire goes on top and black on bottom???

Look for the model number, it's the shorter one

My washing machine is leaking slowly even when the machine is not on! Could it be possible this could be the issue

I've hoped you figured it out by now, but if you haven't, check your seals first! Around the water hookups and drain pump are the usual culprits. They're more likely to be the issue if it's a slow leak
