  My whirlpool model GD5RVAXVY05 has water at the bottom of freezer frozen… and water leaking under it. Clogged line? I seen someone replace what looked like a washer as well

  So you just open the back plate and thaw out the coils? Where would the melted water drain to?

  There's a drain tube in the back that's clogged. That's the root of the issue. Melt the ice then clear the clog.

  All I wanted to see was it agitating. Still not sure because the lid was closed and it was hard to see. That's the most important thing is to see if the clothes are actually cleaning or barely moving. Unfortunately no other videos on this machine. Maybe you could do the video again with the lid open.   I am having the same issue I had to disconnect from the power outlet. I used mixed load with deep fill and it was acting as if it was on normal eco. Looked like 3 inches of water

  @louisbaiani6262 My new machine literally just did this yesterday, on the second load I was running, right after the first one (and a few dozen in the weeks before that) worked absolutely perfectly. Nothing would get it out of this behavior except unplugging it for a bit, which brought it back to normal. Did Maytag ever come back with a more durable solution for this? It feels like a software / firmware / sensor glitch on the control board of some kind since the PC type "Have you tried rebooting it?" process actually worked.

  Thanks so much! Just bought this washer today. Had the prior model this replaced and lasted many years. Big fan of GE washers. It was a toss up between this or a LG.

  Don't buy LG. It's a premium brand like Samsung. They're premium price with overpriced parts. They look better in your house though. They're pretty. But it's all the same. Even ge.

  Knob stem is cheap. Could break at any time. Then I believe you have to buy the entire board. Don't like the engineering/design behind the knob/stem/board. I haven't confirmed if you're going to need an entire new control board if the stem breaks but if you do that's a bummer control boards are one of the most expensive Parts on a washer. The Speed Queen tc5 is still the next option for me. It's a 1500 washer but I live with seven people.

  Did you purchase it from Maytag direct? What’s the model number on the machine you purchased? The true Maytag Commercial Washer can only be ordered through Maytag direct and it has a full 5 year warranty. More disinformation.

  Well I don't know if it will fill water right to the top cause you stopped it but it definitely beats the lemon lid locked Maytag I bought not aware that the government had got control of the water you can use to clean your clothes making it impossible with some machines like my disaster, to do the job. I love your attitude. You remind me of me. Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it
