How can you identify what repairs need to be made and where can you get parts for those repairs at a reasonable price.
These in heat pump version don't work very well if you use an external thermostat. We put one on our screen porch and almost every time it turns on in heat mode, it defrosts. Terrible waste of energy. LG sent us a new unit and it does it to. We have tried half dozen different thermostats including their fancy wireless. All the same thing. Running with the internal thermostat they work fine. Seems to be a logic issue on the board. I can't believe I am the only one having this issue.
