I’ve found the ge ptac to be one of the quietest. I have the newest model in my apartment and it is a 15,000 btu model. The amana would het rattle, fried rich and lg didn’t last very long, comfort air was just plain cheap junk.
I hate seeing Amanas in the room. Most are noisy. The 2 LGs I've had in rooms have been quiet but not as quiet as a new GE.

Nope. Ge is the quietest. I know that because I stayed at a hotel with a Ge and it was so quiet.
