Question. I currently have the Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit. I've never had an LG. I know I've seen people say how these are no different than the Sylo 4, but in your opinion would it be a decent upgrade from my current phone? I really just want one with more space and that has the NFC for android pay, and I watched your video last night and I cant remember if it was covered in this phone has it or not.

Is it worth it hell yeah! Even tho i got it cheaper on cyber monday i wouldve still paid the $199.

I've got this but from Metro. It's good but I still find the volume rocker on the left side awkward.

Handset has no adoptable storage feature for microSD card. Allowing for the transfer of apps from internal to external storage.

I believe you can move apps to SD card on the 5. I had a 4 and I could move apps on that one.

@@TheJames-Edward the format as internal memory option for sd cards is blocked by manufacturer (you can only format as storage which doesn't behave like you would want it to...) but you can do it via adb drivers using the win command-prompt, look it up.

You forgot to mention 2 things in comparison to the 4...5 has a bigger battery...both have a non removable battery..

I loved my stylo 3, hated the stylo 4 especially the stylus, how is stylo 5any better or should I wait for straight talk to get stylo 6. One of my friends has stylo 6 but it's from tmobile.

The Stylo 5 is no better than the Stylo 4 in my opinion. I've been researching and I can't find any release date on the Stylo 6 for Straight Talk. I hope to hear something soon.

Are they all CDMA and use Verizon or are some GSM and use AT&T? Need CDMA and Verizon to use the 10GB hotspot option Straight Talk is telling me. They shut down my GSM Stylo 3 for using it as a hotspot with At&T. Straight Talk is telling me it will designate GSM or CDMA on the back of the actual box.

Seems like to me you have the L83BL Stylo 3. Straight Talk also has the L84VL Stylo 3 which is the CDMA version, so you should use that one and it should work.

I still use a Stylo 3 L84VL.

Can you put a cricket sim card to a phone that is for straight talk from Walmart?

Awesome video RJ I'm kinda of disappointed about LG Stylo 5 my head phone jack is defective and my battery saver doesn't go off when I hook it up to the charger that really sucks 😞 and the storage being taken up.!!! I don't think I will be getting another LG phone anytime soon I miss ZTE 😭.!!! It's a hit and miss with LG. I've always been an LG person mostly because I like the design of the phones. But the performance of the phones are often times a headache. And you can do better with even cheaper phones than some of the LG ones. I like the look of the phone but not the performance

I have a Tracphone Stylo4. I use Tracphone cards because it's a minute phone. If I bought a Straight Talk Sim card kit from Wal-Mart, can I still use my Stylo4 with the different carrier?

If you have a TracFone branded Stylo 4 and want to start using straight talk. You have to call straight talk and they should be able to re-brand it to work.

Not as techie as most here😊 but straight talk just gave me an upgrade choice of cell's.. I'd been on a galaxies prime core..4.4.4 😀😃😄🙉yeah hear all LAUGHING but it's like going from a 50's car to ferri ☺ love this LG Stylo 5.. My kids have played more with it than I..they. Love all the features..I'm learning as they show me..this things even got a coloring book🙉😀😍 I get bored..candy crush is back an after 2 days finally lost a game😊so videos to learn more..ty for the info .. Is it worth it.. It is for me❤😍

I'll just say - stay away from the a10e, the screen and buttons are so sensitive it pops up different apps or closes them in the blink of an eye.

I like the phone, I think it's definitely an upgrade for straight talk considering how the previous specs for the stylos have been.

The phone is not bad, but I think the Stylo line is dead unless they really up the specs. If this phone would've had a Snapdragon 630 or higher it would've made a huge difference.

@CV Tech I like the Stylo 5. But I think even you will agree with me. I hope when the Stylo 6 comes out LG gets with the program. And add 2 cameras, bump the processer up. And try for a notch kinda like the LG G7 series or a more bezeless look. I like the look of the Stylo 5 but it just reminds me too much of the Stylo 4 which was starting to look dated when it came out in 2018.

Basically a 16Gb internal storage it should have 26 out of 32Gbs to me that's fair enough people pay to get 32Gbs and just to get 16Gbs not cool. I was going to get this phone but naw. I imagine a 64Gb they give y you like 48Gbs or less out of 64Gbs

I love your videos however straight talk sucks in my area. uses only verizon when their supposed to use all 4 major towers. my mom has them and theyve turned her phone off 3 times already, thank god I save receipts and phone cards. when I had them I had an iPhone 6s, they let someone switch my # and airtime to another phone even though the person didnt have my account pin. they then blacklisted my phone so I couldn't even get a new #.

@@keithfarley162 yes , I know but in my area Verizon is the only one straight talk uses. if you want sprint or at&t then you have to have an unlocked sprint or at&t phone otherwise you'll get verizon.

If you buy that it has 3 sim chips in them verizon, at&t, and tmobile but idk if you wanna go through with that because the customer service can help you set it up.....but they're all foreigners so idk how well you're able to understand ppl with accents haha

Where have you heard or seen that its pronounced that way? Im pretty sure the name is derived from the word "stylus". Considering it has a stylus it seems obvious. And why would you care that a budget phone may be mispronounced?
