you have look up your stylo 5. number on your phone to get the secret menu

I did it and have the style 5 and nothing popped up after i did the dial numbers you said

Appreciate the video that was helpful. My Stylo 5 microphone is crappy. I do music on bandlab and my vocals are coming out distorted. I used to have the Stylo 2 and it recorded just fine. Is there a fix for that? Are there microphone settings somewhere?

I loved my Stylo 2. Now I got a Stylo 5

My microphone on my LG Stylo 5 is crappy. I record on bandlab and my vocals are coming out distorted unlike the LG Stylo 2. Is there a way to fix that? Or do I just have a phone with a crappy mic

COOL. does this test work on the LG V20? my front camera stopped working.

Handset has no adoptable storage feature for microSD card. Allowing for the transfer of apps from internal to external storage.

We completely understand you in this situation and about your inquiry, Apps to be moved to SD/Memory card was a feature that was removed from newer versions of Android starting from Android 6 to the latest version where Apps can be moved to SD card. This was removed due to the issues were apps not running and or corrupting customer's saved information. This is not my first LG and I have had no complaints with other models but this is a deal breaker for me.

Power off phone Hold the volume down key and power on at the same time when the Stylo 5 logo appears release the power button then press again after 2 seconds It's tricky and your timing has to be good I've only accomplished it once in ten tries but my case may be to blame partially

As far as rooting goes.. I'm getting mixed reactions on the xda forum and other places mostly about unlocking the bootloader some sites say you can others on the forums say it can't be or they don't even know if it's locked to start with I know my original stylo said right on the boot screen bootloader unlocked after I unlocked it

You did not show us how to transfer internal storage apps to external..

They removed the menu and put it in developer menu

I normally disliked LG's phones, because out of all the Android's I've had in the past, LG was the only one that wouldn't automatically save my apps or media files to the external storage or SD cards. Even when I selected it to in the system settings, and so when I would try go download a new app it would have a fit, and delete my media files, and my mother's LG K7 deletes files, but I like my Stylo 5.

Knowledge is power, Thanks. Btw I bought mine factory unlocked to get around all the bloatware & other problems associated with making it work like I want it to. If you buy a service provider phone to get the discount it costs you in the long run.

What is the POWER SAVING EXCLUSIONS on the LG Stylo 5 and what does it do? Is it safe to turn them off?

Can you please help me! I just bought the LG Stylo 5 from Straight Talk at Walmart. Last night I went to transfer my number from my old phone (Stylo 3 which I'm on right now) and during the setup somehow I allowed for App Updates to search for the latest recommended apps for me to download. Oh my God!!! I started at 7 pm and it's now 5 a.m. and it's still a white screen searching! I'm so tickled off! I can't stop it...I can't proceed to the main screens...I can't set up my new phone. I tried to force stop it and shutting the phone off and restarted it multiple times! Can you please help me figure out how to make it stop? I don't want to have to go back to Walmart if I don't have to. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hmm wonder why the video cuts right before you enter the settings

If you were listening he did say you need a specific model number for the type of phone you have. The 720 number is for LG stylo 5. So if you dont have a LG stylo 5 and you used the same model number Only be mad at yourself for not listening and reading the title.
