Lezyne Zecto Drive 250 vs 80

In conclusion, for the price they are fantastic, if you prefer the crazy bright day flash get the 250, if you don't care get the 80.
MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE RUBBER COVER ON THE CHARGING PORT INSERTED PROPERLY.

One trick I do is put some chain oíl or silicone grease on usb port to waterproof it. I have mine for about 3 years without a problem.

Good video, thanks for this, just brought the 250s and wasn’t sure which mode was which. Now I know! I had day flash on at dusk and was told by someone that it was too bright.

The day flash is pretty bright if someone is riding behind you.

Hi I just had a loose connection disassembleyed it, sprayed it with contactspray, and BAM still running on 4th year, i recommend siliconspray/grease onthe USB port.

I had the 80 lumen version for about 3 years until it failed on me yesterday. I was somehow unable to turn it on even though the power button seems to work fine. There's also a little bit of moisture and dirt in it. After a year or so I started to get problems with corrosion on the micro USB port even though I always made sure to firmly insert the rubber plug. I think the charging port should be located on the side to protect it from the crap that's thrown off the back wheel.

Sad, water is gets in there somehow... the Knog Cobber has caught my eye, I think I'm getting one of them when this one dies.

Hi Josie, a have a question. ive got the 80 lumens version - new buy today. But think there is a fault. the light is flashing very unregulated in every Mode. is that normal?

@@joshy5603 There are several flashing and steady light modes. You should be able to toggle through them by pressing the power button. If the light doesn't change, then that's not normal.

I have had mine since 2016. I do only use them for commute. Do you use mud guards or is that why they only lasted you 1 year?

How many hours do you get in the day with the 250? Need something that will last 6-7hrs?

Can I have always "day mode"?? When I driving at the night too?

No - at night, these would be too bright and you'll dazzle the drivers behind you - putting yourself or other users at risk.
