I just want to thank you for taking the time to solve my complicated Lexus sc430 issue. Our daughter i\opened the roof-attempted-with a car cover in the back. It snapped off the little wing. Wow-6 hours later your video solved what broke.

My flap on the drivers side is broken any idea where I can purchase one?

Mine is broken as well, trying to find out how to remove the package tray and install a new one. No luck...

Hey man, When you say some "idiot" broke the mech, I highly doubt this was done with undue care. The car seems to have a common habit of chewing the fuck out of itself it seems and therefore why this video is helpful. I managed to fix the problem and get roof closed, in my scenario it alos broke the gear mech that opens the side flaps, through no other intervention from me other than pressing the open button. I now know more about how the part moves no though so thanks for that👍

I have the 2005 Lexus sc430 and unfortunately the roof top does not open,the red light on the button just flashes when I press it, please help.

That was an awesome video!! I really enjoyed that! A lot of tech went into that top.. Im almost guilty everytime i open and close it now..
