Went to see a cardiologist after my stroke...he said I was taking over 5 times the dosage I should be on. HE SENT MESSAGES TO MY primary. HE was not happy! What about TSH?

So how much does a person take that's over 65, and the Thyroid has been removed?

Had a station like this in my board....I think I will fail this station....confused as to either increase her dose despite the blood test is still not under control.

If suspect to have hypothyroidism should I take levothyroxine medicine to check?

I'm 55 years old. And I had a heart attack at age 48 and another at age 53 that almost killed me. I take 1.75mcg of levothyroxine. Is this dosage ok???

I believe mine Is .88 mg, I'm under 60 yrs of age.

I’m 18 and I am 73kg and take 137mcg. I think it depends on the situation or the cause of hypothyroidism or how under-active the thyroid is.

Sir my mother is taking eltroxin 100 McG since 11 year.now since 8 years her tsh levels are within normal limits .should I tapper her tablet to 75 mcg

how quickly will TSH normalise once started on levothyroxine? I was diagnosed with hypothyrodism, with TSH greater than 100. I was started on 50mcg for 6 weeks but my TSH did no budge. I've then started on 100mcg with bloods in another 6 weeks- how long could this take to become normal?? -_-

My Tsh was 185. For initial one week i was on 150mg but due to high dose side-effects i changed it to 100mg and taking it for nearly 3 weeks my tsh level dropped to 24

Cathy did you know you can slow the speed down? just click on the little icon that sort of resembles a snow flake next to the CC, those are your settings, you can adjust the playback speed from there as slow as you need . . . . .as for me I thank you and appreciate you Dr. Aman Arora
