Levon showed us the key to success as a musician; Love what you do. That smile beams up any room he steps foot in.

after all these years and health issues, his voice is still magnificent! Wow! The band, the horns...all works together so well, but it is the vocals that take center stage!

No one loved playing music more than Levon Helm. Such joy whenever he played!

Grew up as a young girl listening to Levon! I love his voice! I miss him. He was amazing and what a thousand kilowatt smile! RIP Levon..You are not forgotten!! Your music lives on!

RIP Levon Helm you are greatly missed sir.

I hope people sit and listen not only to his voice but his soul. This man represented music's real spirit. A great man who will be sorely missed. RIP Levon..

Woodstock, NY will always be truly blessed and honored that the tradition of incredible music and wonderfully rockin' times have lived on through the great Levon Helm, his family, and his friends.

Really miss Levon and his music. He had a way of delivery that just made you feel like you were in the presence of a friend that you had known your whole life. Every show was always casual and full of comfort. Just like Mama's cookin.

I had to great pleasure of being at that show. Thanks Levon for all the great music. R.I.P.

What a groove he had and he had it every time he played. I don't know how you sit still when that guy was playing.

one of my heroes.....a great man...........missed every day.........and hardly a day goes by when I don't play his stuff...solo or with the boys in the Band....its all just wonderful.

The Band, one of my biggest musical heroes. When I clicked on this video, I expected it to be a weak version of the versions I knew, because that has happened too many times before... But it wasn't. Levon Helm remains one of my musical heroes. Such a legend. I love The Band.

Levon lives on in his music and our soles... None other...

So much could be said about Levon. I love how he just gets down to work right from the count in. One more note on this video - thanks, Billy Bob... for staying back stage.

Why do the best things always disappear? Sad as I am to have witnessed his passing, this song, whatever version he does, makes me feel good, head to toe.

I discovered Mr Helm and the band late in my life just sorry i missed so much of the man himself in the early days. Still feel fortunate to have had his everlasting love for life...thank you Levon.

i agree down here beside Lookout Mountain in Alabama...everytime i get in a writer's slump, i just have to listen to a few of these songs and it's on, baby! it's on! SUCH INSPIRATION!

I always say if people want to hear perfection go listen to the album. Live shows are “live”and the mistakes are all part of the show.

Happy birthday Levon....I was so fortunate to be at this show...the world misses you ,man.

I absolutely love the tone of that trumpet. All of the horns really. They play so well during the simultaneous sections. Beautiful.

I have loved This man's music for ever, and now he's gone, but Levon's music will live on. He was as real as it gets. RIP Levon.

I appreciate this band they all look like they are enjoying what they are doing, I think that was so important for Levon. His singing and drumming was amazing. It's sad that he wasn't recognized for his talents and skills. Although his town recognized him. I think the band was under a lot of pressure, the stress was just way to much as well we can see only 2 members left. Levon Helm was a great drummer and singer he put his all in.

Great voice throughout his whole life. Never met the guy but in every video you watch of the guy one can tell how much heart and soul Levon helm has. Bet he was a great guy, know he was a great musician!
