yes. he abandoned the things that made that performance against cruz so great. he was patient and the power he possesses can lay anyone out. he engages in needless slugfests and that's what's cost him those losses. he has a good chin - watch his fight against font. also Munoz landed a monster hook on him and he still was semi conscious. he does not use head movement anymore, it's a big flaw to not use it since he's quite the skilled boxer. I hope he can bounce back,he's still young.
No matter how many times I see DJ's flying armbar it's always impressive.

@@nitolinilo9034 I don't think he could be as as technical and athletic at over a feet taller and almost double his weight. I personally just don't see the small guys as entertaining (under lightweight). Don't know why, probably has to do with the lack of power leading to less KO/TKO wins and those rounds that would have been finished higher are 10-8. The problem is even worse in women
The fact that Gustafsson never got the belt is so unfortunate. He took two of the greatest of all time to the limit and could’ve won against prime Jon Jones. Everyone else he faced in his prime (except Rumble) he pretty much demolished. A slick and accurate boxer with a reach advantage over almost everyone, and good enough wrestling to take down two of the best wrestlers in MMA history. Man lol wonderboy had Hendricks so confused lol. As a karate black belt that was going through the karate disrespect in mma, it was so satisfying watching that with my wrestling friends. They asked me to go to the gym that night lol. Good
Next do "when levels to this goes wrong" (Anderson/weidman, etc)

Those moments are moment of glory for humanity... Look at what some people are able to do !
That Cowboy combination against Story has got to be the best combo of all time. Soooo smooth between levels and strikes!
Crazy Gustafson beat the breaks off Glover with those 3 uppercuts…. Yet Glover had the belt Gustafson never reached😢

1:24 Anderson hits a beautiful "Anchor Punch" as Ali calls it. Spacing just right to dodge their jab and strike as they are approaching you so that their inward momentum will be the thing that knocks them out.
DJ is the GOAT when it comes to technique and how to apply it at the right moment constantly.
The true ones know that the fight IQ of Demetrious Johnson was on another level! Such a pleasure to see his fights, dude just choose the best move at every moment, a pure book of MMA! GOAT 👌
Cody is my foavorite fighter and here’s why, since you all asked. Seeing that performance against Cruz shows how good Cody is and I root for him every time. I cannot speak for him nor would I assume I know what the issue is but man, the mental side of fighting is a very crucial fragile thing for some, I admire fighters with a mental fortitude that’s consistent.

Lol then y r u in love with maybe the most inconsistent great fighter the roster has ever seen. His mental went from one of the greatest to pathetic in an instant. After that performance he lost 5 straight.

Dislike. Didn't include Corey Anderson taking out Johnny Walker. tHeRe'S lEvElS!!!
Ending with the Bobby combination was well done..
i could watch that cowboy combo on repeat for an unreasonable amount of time. ridiculously smooth
Idk why, but seeing Anderson get flatlined by Jan after the Walker fight where he was like "THERES LEVELS TO THIS!" is really fucking funny to me.
TJ vs Barao has an asterisk over it because of TJ's failed drug test. I remember TJ before the Barao fights and he was nothing special, then all of a sudden he was unbeatable and had an endless gas tank. I'm highly sceptical to the point where I think he ruined his legacy because of the cheating.

if you truly believe any of the top 10 guys is not under some kind of PED, you're really naïve. There are tons of ways to not get caught by USADA, people getting caught usually made a mistake or are made an example.

@@mtabby8791 every sport at top elite level has an asterisk. I don't understand how people are so naïve and dumb and can't connect a+b -> a) PEDs are cheating and increase your performance way beyond natural human limits b) people get caught in every sports all the time and they're usually not even among the best Yet people think those "average" elite level athletes compete with natural athletes and are still not at the top? People caught in Crossfit Games juicing like there's no tomorrow, not even top 5. People in UFC juicing so hard they get caught by useless USADA and are still not beating natty champions. People in football getting caught and saying the club gave them PEDs, people in cycling having way better performances than previously caught juicers, people in boxing fighting for 50mn without breathing heavy at the end, etc etc...

@@mtabby8791 It's true for most fighters. Overeem got all his biggest wins when he was on every performance enhancer known to man.
That cowboy combo is insane 2:00
Cowboy's combos are delicious. The round house kick to head in the end is like icing on a cake.
"I'm the best boxer" he says with blood streaming down his face because he never moves his head

He says "in the UFC" not in the world. And context is very important because his opponent, Calvin Kattar, said he was the best boxer in the UFC before this fight with Holloway and Holloway made him look silly with his fists alone. And to add, all that head movement from boxers would get you head kicked into oblivion in MMA, so these kinds of comparisons can easily go both ways.

@@The_Fat_Turtle I didn't say he said the world. Holloway thinks that walking through punches and hitting his own is world class which it is not. He's a great offensive boxer but his defence is bad. Even McGregor is better. Poirier is better. And you talk about boxing on its own well Holly Holm is better than him. I'll give him a pass because it was mid-fight.

Great fighters are incredible. Silva, Mac Gregor and Demetrius, wow !
Silva OMG! Gave me chills.
Man, what in the hell happened to Cody Garbrandt?? The way he dismantled Dom Cruz, it seemed like he was gonna be the champ for a generation. Say what you will about steroids, but no pill or injection gives you timing and technique like that.
This whole video could have only been about the fight between Whittaker vs Vettori and it would still makes sense with the title.
Cerrone....that combo is the greatest I've ever seen whenever I see the word combo hear it... just anything fighting...I think of that beaut
DJs flying arm bar has to be the greatest show of perfected technique ever in the UFC
