    People forget(or are unaware) of Jones' run in the lhw division. He started young and was tearing through the rankings like anything, and none of them were bums. He defeated the older legends, his generation, and the upcoming ones(until 2020). it's just sad to see the shitty stuff now

    As impressive as that was by Jones, I rate GSP higher because he belonged to that legends generation and then beat the next two generations after that. I felt like of the four above for Jones ^, only Machida had much of a prime left after their fight. And then Jones really struggled with the generation after his (post-DC and Gus). This is regardless of PED usage

    To be clear, she isn't clowned for her fighting. Sometimes she gets flack for the competition she beat, but in reality she is clowned because of the way she handled her losses, and talks down to people after. No presser, no post fight interview, running to a fake sport, 😤

    You can only be on top for so long...You can try to adapt with the times that change or you try to stick to your old mentality that "Got you champion" I think Ronda tried to stick to her old techniques and didnt even study Amanda Nunes in the comeback fight...     To this day, that shot Evans landed on Chuck is one of the hardest, cleanest shots I’ve ever seen land. The sound it made was incredible. People forget just how good Rashad was back in the day. Fuck that was a perfect punch.

    Same, bro. I trained at his gym, The Pit in Arroyo Grande, CA. Things were really grim in that environment for awhile. He always had that hands down style of sprawl and brawl, but he had the power and the chin to get away with his lack of defense/head movement . . . until he couldn't get away with it anymore. Once the chin starts to go, it ain't coming back.

    She wasn't a quitter either. Always tried to stay on her feet and kept trying to grapple despite getting rocked. Mcgregor too. People are fickle. They hype these fighters up way too much and then when it goes south they pile on. Rhonda and mcgregor were both limited, but they were very good at what they did.

    The UFC nowadays is filled with Champs that have contenders that are on their level. It's hard to get KOs when you're barely squeaking out decision wins or maybe dominating an opponent that's durable enough to make the fight go the distance.
