But it's kinda obvious too that over usage of steroid played a part in his injury. But yeah almost everyone in this field abuses the usage of steroids..

Seeing Vitaly in this shape gives us so much hope towards his potential. Hasn't been the best recently but certainly has the potential to be #1. Denis lurking in the background with Levan on the table was legendary! He still is a monster even when he's out of shape. Can't wait to see him square up with Levan this December hopefully.

Not really. In an interview to a local fitness channel he explained that the first round was basically a warm up for Levan, not an actual struggle, while Vitaly worked really hard. People make wrong assumptions based on what they see without trying to understand the full picture.

Laletin weighted 120 kg in this match and Levan vas 170 kg, in the meantime Laletin moved up to almost 150 kg and i bet he could beat Levan in couple of rounds at least. Genady Kvikvinia could also give Levan problems, maybe even Devon can take a round if he gets his weight where he was against Tod.

Vitaly is extremely strong for his body shape. His height is an advantage as well as the weight is for Levan. The only one to win Levan in the near future would be a more muscular/enhanced and in general more trained and dedicated Vitaly. Dude is not even a full time/professional armwrestler, not focusing on it at all, he‘s driving trucks. Still the only one to give Levan a run for his money

Laletin always pulls with low hand toproll. The impressive thing here was that Levan's backpressure was incredibly strong.

Levan’s approach to table would have caused me to lose. He attacks the table like a beast

From what I've witness, Vitaly had VERY good breathing control. You can see that vitaly sometimes pauses to catch a breath and then strikes again quickly. Levan in the other hand is holding his breath. If vitaly didn't go all out in the first match to try toproll levan, I think we could witness much more legendary battle here
Vitaly needs to do some curls. He would be insane if he had Devon Larratt's muscle on his long arms.
I think Vitality has that who can compete with levan, he needs to gain and work his ass off.
This Vitaly Laletin is stronger than he looks - he looks so natural, he defended his disadvantaged position like a boss.

That' both true and not true at the same time..lol....i mean no two arm wrestlers have same skills.....it's more based on ur training,mind setup and capitalising on the leverage if u get any...even better arm wrestlers loose from lesser considered arm wrestlers in past a lot of times

its not just size, many good examples out there. vrezhk for example competes in alot higher weight classes all the time, also john brzenk did it for decades. etc etc
Laletin is really strong.I haven't seen Levan fighting like this ever.Laletin will get stronger than Levan I can see it very clearly.

What makes Levan so impressive is unlike most wrestlers who start pressing before the ref even let's go, he really waits till the last second before pressing.

The only real challenge for Levan would be a prime Denis or a more geared/muscular Vitaly. Pushkar wouldn‘t have any job on Levan and Brzenk just can‘t compete in that class of weight and strength

In the grip up it's like Vitaly is worried about his hand and constantly peeking a bit worriedly at Levan while Levan is just holding his ground and just looking at his hand not moving off center. Levan has mastered the set up, he is a joy for a referee.

@@CristianZamora We'll see how hardcore New Devon is, it's early to call it. He DID annihilate MT, and he's indeed the most massive he's ever been, but he's also kind of old, and I don't know how much steam he has. Either way, it's an interesting scene. Definitely waiting for Devon vs Levan.
Laletin was gassed after the first one, but is strong af and the best yet to face Levan. I come back to this vid every few weeks lol, one if the best arm wrestling vids.
