Dustin thank you so much for your recognition I have been a truck driver for 19 years. I drive for FedEx we have a federal and state account delivering medical supplies and ventilators it has been crazy busy . I drive everyday from California to Nevada meeting up with various drivers from all around the United States . During this crazy time with covid-19 we are the Lost part of the effort. Most people don't realize without truck drivers stores would have no food and clothing gas stations would not have gas and hospitals would not have supplies or medication the United States would absolutely stop without truckers. again thank you so much I appreciate your recognition. BTW all of your cars are so sick

She looks so happy driving it! Also, always open your hood during track days. Always check brake liquid, clutch and engine oil after each heat, probaly wouldn’t have happened if you caught it before hand!

i have taught lots of people how to drive stick .. she is needing to get clutch sensitivity figured out .. easy way to do this is find a level and flat parking lot or open space .. then get her in the car , set up and then feet on brake and clutch and then off the brake with clutch in ( first gear obviously ) and with NO GAS slowly let out the clutch ( slowly ) and she will feel the point where the clutch engages and the car starts to roll forwards .. Once she gets used to the point in the leg movement that the clutch WANTS to engage , it make the whole process much easer ..

The smile on her face in that car, priceless!

I've done that before accept I forgot to put the oil cap on. I new something was up within the first minute bc I smelled oil and saw it dripping on the ground when I turned the car on. Good thing you caught it before completely going dry.

i like a lot this series with the honda s2k

if you see a check oil pressure it’s probably too late for your engine. Pay close attention at start up for any noises and do a new oil change and check for any “glitter” on the old oil. When my s2000 ran with low oil it got rod knock so I had to replace the engine. That’s why I have an F22C on my AP1.

Yo Dustin when you drive your car with no oil cap what happens is the car is taking to much air which is causing the air flow sensors to trip out. Making it run lean, the solution is to put the cap back on, take off your battery, wait up 10 minutes. Reconnect the battery and turn on your car. It should disappear. Lmk if it works

Probably should use 10w30. Higher temps on track means the oil was loosing thickness. Gotta protect your motor.
