A good tip is sprint for plenty of momentum and drop the board don’t throw it in front of you🤙🏼😎

I think he's calling them "groms" which may be short for "grommets" which is Australian slang for beginner surfers and skiers.

What boards are you using? I am looking for one but I’m not sure which one to pick up. I also thoroughly enjoyed how you shared the sport. We need more people like you🤙🏼

Garret, I’ve never been skimboarding before and I’m having trouble getting on the skimboard after my throw. It is just a simple wooden one with no grips. Do you have any tips for me?

I just thrifted a Meyer brand skim board for $12.99 for my boys and cleaned all the sticky goo from it. Now realizing maybe it is supposed to have sticker treads. OOPS. Did I make a bad purchase? Can some kind soul tell this mama if I need to buy sticky tred and apply it? Thanks, friends!

The board always come back to sand. You will not lose it
