Colin could make it even safer by adding an automated cauterizing torch that turns the little bits into ashes for added security for people that may put the shreds together to find identity theft info and also take up even less space in the rubbish, as well as cauterizing any flesh that may enter the shredder. He should also do it because the excess blood will rust the gears.

Colin, you're actually onto something really cool. Imagine if everyone could shred all their rubbish.

Here, we collect all the junk mail - everything without an address and/or name on it and then, when we have a decent pile, we go to the local post office and push it all back into their post box again.
