Took a night ride with kitt the other day, The dash is so nice in the dark and i know my speedometer is not working but it will be fixed soon, i need a part to convert from cable to electronic.

They are always projects, either fixing a problem, or adding something on. But its still fun to own. In my area I drive with the fog lights, scanner, and the knight plate on it, I have had no trouble with the police around here, just thumbs up.

Nice, here i would not have my scanner on knight plate on i would get a ticket. Can't wait to have my new hood on and the black out. The hood need to be painted and i need to figure something to open the trunk without the key, i dont have a eletric trunk so i will to put a hoid cable with a andle inside the car.

You need voice navigation and other in-car sounds (line modern cars have) in KITT's voice, plus actual cameras in the rear, etc for the tv screens. Basically install modern car features that are integrated with KITT's original dashboard (real online voice and video chat on separate tv screens screens, etc).

@@primalconvoy well for that kind of tech i need my friend to help cause i am not that big of a geek in that department he is more. One of my screen is a back up camera and i have a switcher for my media player the other one is my dvd player for now.
Very cool! Watched a few of your installation videos after this one. The dash looks really nice, and the scanner.

Does the digital speedometer not work here? The guy is obviously driving but the mph is something between 0 and 5....

it looks like the speedo is reading the transmission input shaft and not the output shaft.
