Lets Make Bubble Tea! (Easy DIY Bubble Tea Kit)
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Lets make bubble tea! And that's exactly what I did using this easy DIY bubble tea kit I bought off Amazon. I'd actually never tried bubble tea/boba tea before and I was super interested to see what it was like! Now this kit definitely opted for more of a fruity version of bubble tea than the traditional milky ones I'd seen online, but it was really tasty! I think if you wanted to make your own at home I would highly suggest this kit or a similar bubble tea making kit, super easy and tasted great! It's definitely inspired me to hunt down a proper boba/bubble tea shop to see what other combinations are available. I'm still not 100% sold on the idea of sucking up balls with my drink, but it's worth it for the tea! But feel free to let me know what your thoughts were on this DIY bubble tea kit, and whether you've tried bubble/boba tea before!

Cold tea with tapioca and what looks like Jam. Reminds me of 1970's school dinners on ice, just needs a garnish of limp cabbage.

More and more you have me in stitches in the first few minutes of every video. Today it was referring to Twitter fad followers as " knobheads". I grew up in the Grampians in Scotland , living in California now. It's great to hear your sarcasm. If there's anything that Brits do well it's sarcastic humour. Keep it up.

That looks like a great kit. My favourite boba flavour is taro milk tea with tapioca pearls 🥛 yum!

Ant, if you like Bubble tea without the boba balls in it, make black tea, Yorkshire Tea is a decent strong one, and then add some fruit cordial to it. You can get sugar free fruit cordials, so they taste good but with no sugar crash afterwards. My granddaughter is mad on Boba tea, the milky version. I've never tried it myself but I don't like tapioca balls tbh. We were made to eat tapioca pudding in school when I was younger and the thought of eating tapioca in anything makes me shudder! Lol. Great video as always Ant. Have a fabulous week.

Oh never even thought of adding squash to tea! Might try it some time! Hope you have a great week too! 😁😁
Different countries have different terms for it. Boba is most common for China, Bubble tea in more English speaking places, and if I remember right the original name for it is pearl tea. They definitely can get super sweet, which is why I'm thankful that most places here now let you choose your sugar level. It's honestly better with less because you can taste the tea

Oh interesting I had no idea! Yeah they can definitely be a tad overbearing with the sugar 😅😅
More traditional bubble tea is made with a traditionally asian tea (oolong, rooibos tea, hojicha, etc), milk or cream, and sweetened with the tapioca peals/boba/bubbles. The tapioca is mostly sweet starch & tasted like a sweet squishy gummy. Fruit teas have definitely popped off for people who don’t want/like tapioca. I personally like both! Mango is my favourite! Thanks for another great video on a subject I’m passionate about! Your tea looks like it turned out really nicely. Where you live, are there a lot of bubble tea shops? In the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), there are tons and I love having such a selection. edit: bubble tea made with tea (some aren’t, ironically) can contain up to 3x the amount of caffeine that 1 cup of coffee has. So that + the sugar always makes me goes bonkers 😂

I've never had boba tea. But the thought of sucking up tiny balls in my drink makes me uncomfortable. I would like my liquids to be liquid and my solids to be solid lol. I like ice in drinks but that's the only thing that I put in a beverage that is solid. I'm aware it's a weird me thing, I'm not saying that there's something wrong with boba tea. I just don't think I would be a fan of it because I'm weird when it comes to food and textures. Like I'll love a food one day but the next day it makes me nauseous lol. Thanks for another wonderful funny video to brighten my day. I love seeing you try new foods so I don't have to lol. I'm also worried I'd inhale a ball if I tried boba tea.

Watching while drinking a proper cup of hot tea (28 degrees outside)!!! I've tried fruit teas, but prefer good old regular tea. You're looking very sunkissed (fek knows what the right word is) in this video Anthony. Suits you.

You can also have brown sugar pearls. I've tried milky matcha green tea boba in a can and it wasn't good. I want to try milky boba ordinary tea and a brown sugar pearl . Ooh, have you tried Mogu Mogu? It's a soft drink from Thailand with pieces of coconut jelly. They're very refreshing and has no artificial sweetener rubbish.

@@AnthonyCrammenIt's not easy to find in the shops. Sainsburys say they sell it, but not in my local one. My colleague's daughter orders it online and she brings in flavours that her daughter doesn't like for me to try. I tried grape flavour and coconut flavour. It's similar to the aloe vera drinks with bits.
I have only had bubble tea one time in my life and I got a mango flavored one and my boyfriend got the milky one and it seems that the milky one has chewy chunks in it instead of the pop in your mouth that you just experienced haha.

Hey Ant, thanks for the latest fab adventure!! I tried bubble tea for the first time recently, and I'd agree - the drink was really nice, but I found it really weird sucking up chunks Usually, if something solid comes out of a drink, it shouldn't have got in there in the first place (like a fragment of cake)🤣🤣 Thanks for the German intro - will we be seeing more 'International Ant' in the future? 🤣🤣
