Did you try to mix it with washing powder or talcum powder? Just curious.

No I didn't. The baking powder was interesting to me because of its ability to raise the color and make it foamy. That's why I decided to experiment with it in different ways. For the mentioned powders, I don't see that they would do anything that interesting. I added sand of different grain sizes, cornmeal and coffee to get a very rough textures 😊😅

Yes, of course, it must be dried for at least 48 hours. Near the end of the video you can see what it looks like when it dries. There's no point to use gesso over it, it will cover this beautiful texture. Have you seen any of my other videos where I use baking powder? There are many possibilities, you can do this technique over dried gesso or add gesso to the mixture. Be creative, it's very satisfying to experiment with it 😉 Enjoy the process and don't be afraid to make mistakes. If you want to give it a shine, use transparent collage gel or some similar medium over it. Even the ordinary hair spray will do the trick and make it look shiny😊 Best regards 😎

Thank you for your time and comment 😊 Interesting choice of words, did you intentionally say "noise" instead of "music"? 😉

Hahaha, good one👍 You're hilarious 🤣 It's highly recommended that you read the title carefully first, before leaving some thoughtless comment 😉 To be clear, this is a presentation of an abstract painting technique to create a unique texture with acrylic paints and baking powder, not a masterpiece. If you are interested in masterpieces, watch some of my other videos😎 Cheers!😊
