Lets Cut Boulder opal - DO NOT slice boulder opal this way!!
This would be my first time cutting boulder opal. I've owned some before, but never cut it. Ill show you a typical Yowah Nut, And boulder opal typical of Queensland Australia. I also try to slice a stone in half using my flimsy Dremel set up....

I liked this singing too 😅, that's authentic! The reason why people turned off must be the song, that reminds them of the sad movie.

@@opalbadger9367 I think they turned it off because they were intimidated by the beauty of my voice.
Beautiful stone and great stonework!.
Nice one 💚 THX for sharing. i like your authenticity. Keep it up awesome videos...
Nick! Thanks a lot for the splash guard shout out 🙏. After I had same dirty problems with boulders, I had to do something. That's sometimes not fun cutting with such stones 😅. Anyway, turned out good 👍. Liked the cabochon shaping a lot, you're getting better and better!

Thanks man!!
Hi Nick, the smaller stone has flashes under the rough spot, I think it’s worth chasing to clean the stone up. The test piece is awesome though, nice job.

@@DaisyOpals it’s so hard to know when to stop with Boulder, but a smooth hard ironstone can still add to the look and feel. But I do believe there is good colour there from what I can see, tough decision but worth it I think. PS, I have cut through the colour many times on Boulder, but also improved them incredibly, the Boulder with low to no colour is perfect backing material for doublets so it would go to waste. Good luck on what ever you do. A nice finished stone will always sell better too if thats your end game.
Nice Video. We purchased one pound of Boulder Opals. OPALS are my Wifes (ROSIE-50yrs) BIRTHSTONE.

Thank you I found this video useful and motivating❤
how do you store your boulder opal? :D Nice video man
Did you put them into a bezel?
I am an opalholic!!!😂😍
Oh you mean like how I cut opal 😂 don’t worry it’s just common opal
Nick, where are u brother I'm missing your videos
