I’ve always been this way. My fiancé cheated and I didn’t react. I actually told him if he’s going to cheat can he at least tell the women to not reach out to me with drama. Now he be looking through my phone excusing me of cheating. Asking me if I have a side piece and everything. I’m actively dating and preparing to leave. He is suppose to get me a car. About a year ago, he cheated. I found out, I cut off all communication for about 3 months. When we go back together I stopped catering to him. He started catering to me. I gave him permission to go do him, he said he didn't want to. Sometimes I dress up go out even if it's a solo date. He will want to know who I'm going out with. I am talking to other men but I don't make it obvious to him he will see when I get a random flower or gift deliver. He will figure it out himself. So basically what I did is once I found out I was not the only one, I started making him an option too.

So when he would get to port knowing how he is I knew he'd do what ever, so I made sure to not pick up my phone then when he called I'd email him and say, "Oh I'm sorry I was out doing this and that, so I didn't hear my phone ring." Even if I wasn't out. He decided he didn't want an open marriage anymore.

So as long as they don’t have an emotional attachment with that woman cheating is OK. A cheater is always a cheater across all socioeconomic levels (with very few exceptions). It’s better to cut your losses, take as much as you can on your way out, and preserve your health at all costs. Too many women stay and end up contracting std’s including hiv/aids. Not worth it.

I have never obsess over a bf cheatin on me ever in my life because one, the title boyfriends never appeal to me. I rather say we are datin or I’m datin this person anythin other than bf. Period. Nearly five months went by and nothin happened because in my mind we were done. He came to me out of frustration talkin about wats going on?! It’d been nearly five months, Lisa. Five months!? Before I knew it he’d gone on this rant confession about everythin he’d been up during the months we were off. I never cared because in the back of my mind we were over. I’m all good as long as he ain’t messing me with and someone else at the same time. I was already onto the next by the time he woke up. Come to find it was someone from the school we attended. I guess him and the guy sort of knew each other. He may have cut his hair once or twice nothin major. Boy, always had money. Had a wealthy fam he even introduced me within weeks of datin. I would go over durin wkds hangout at this luxurious house etc.. had a time of my life. He took me shopping several occasions. He ran a campus transportation so he would pick me up when I took summer classes. I had all my friends hookup on free transportation. Plus he was physically fit. So, a major upgrade, which was all good fun for me. My so called guy nearly hanged himself. He called the other guy to find out what was going on between him and I. He walked miles of campus to meet with my friend to ask her questions about us because he didn’t have a car then. I guess she must have told him I hooked up with the other guy blah blah... This was one of those frienemies type who always fought to get the guys’ attention, however, they kept runnin after me because of my don’t care attitude. It is wat it is.. He started workin out at a result. Going around campus talkin about ppl think they can get his woman bc they lift weight ya dey ya da. Safe to say we broke up. However, i did these without knowin some of Shera’s strategies. I guess I sort of been that gal. Imagine what would happened with new info I’m receiving. Big ups to Shera for sharing these tips on how to become less emotionally invested when a spouse mess around. They are extremely useful ladies. Always remember the relationship must be 50/50 in order for this to work like Shera’s suggested because most men could care less either way of their lady says go ahead and cheat. Make sure you are never the lady whose man is never threatened by your sarcasm or indirect message because this would mean you have either gotten too comfortable or somehow allowed the man to think you can never do better than him
