Yay for natural light 🙌 What if you didn't paint the inside window sashes? Maybe the wood color would blend into the conservatory that way, they seem to blend with the brick paneling when you have them open.

For the wisteria that doesn't bloom, wack the bigger stalks with a stick. Wack it really really good. This puts it in a flight or fright mode and next year they will bloom. You may havevto di this every few years and this works for fruit trees as well.

I can't ever find your posts on OWDS about the kitchen, glad to see you here again!!! I love robins! Here in Calif, I have only seen one in over 50 years and I almost wrecked the car to stop and back up to watch it pull a worm out of the ground. I just love them so, having grown up in Indiana with them. That snake will try again for the baby birds. I wish you could keep it away from them somehow. I wish my hubs could do the things yours does for you. Your videos are never long enough...when they end, I go "ohhhhhhh." I wish I could go to Paris with you but I have to put a new roof on this house this summer. Just waiting for my baby possums in the back yard to grow bigger so we can get it done.

That garden… I almost can’t stand it. It’s so amazing!!! And thank you for saying the name of the blue paint!!! I asked months ago and also found it, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who wanted to know! Snakes in the garden… ugh. At least once a year we end up with a huge bull snake surprise! We have rattle snakes around us as well so either way they scare me! Thanks, as always, for inspiring a beautiful life!

Celebration of the light!!! I know how you were feeling. Our cabinates are excellent quality, but were so dark! I'd have to turn the lights on every morning. One gorgeous summer day I was looking out the window at birds and butterflies and dragon flies, flanked by those dark cabinates, and that was it. Now, the kitchen is 7 shades of white to cream with a Solotube dropped into the ceiling and a fixture over it so it's not so contemporary...our whole demeanor is vastly improved...because of the light.

You inspire me to make my home what I want it to be❤

Wow…what a big difference in your opening of your new window…love it…I cannot wait until you reveal of your completed unfitted kitchen…Joel is one of a kind with all of your projects of your BEAUTIFUL home so looking forward to it…I’m so happy you got to save the baby robin bird…I was not able to do that with our robin nest on our front porch…I was so devastated, there were 4 eggs in the nest…it was our 2nd one built there and one morning I noticed the mama robin wasn’t in the nest…I kept looking several times and nothing…I went to look into the nest and saw that 2 of her eggs were gone…there was no sign of the nest disturbed and no eggs on the porch floor or ground…I couldn’t figure what had happened…I Googled to find out and I believe a squirrel got into the nest a took the 2 eggs…I never thought of that and they will…I was so not HAPPY about it and the mama robin never came back and the other 2 eggs were left…so I never got to see the stages of the baby’s hatching again…😢 so I’m so HAPPY the little baby robin is safe again…❤ and YES…HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to Joel…ENJOY YOUR DAY and THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL showings of all your home projects…❤❤❤

Letting In the "Natural Light"... How Exciting ... I'm traumatized by the Snake event... The baby bird may still be in danger... Is there such a thing as a snake trap?? That size "He" will be staking out & feasting on your grounds... He needs to be relocated 🤯

Oh, no, wisteria will take over and destroy everything! If you must have it, put in a container so you can control it. Then train on a trellis or arbor structure and prune. The roots are just as bad as the vines! True, it is glorious for about 6 weeks in bloom.

I live in Alabama USA and dearly love Princess Catherine! I am praying for her and wishing her all the best. While it is not cancer that I battle, I do understand somewhat of what it is like to daily battle a difficult and potentially fatal illness. Not long ago I was very healthy, an athlete even. I now have 7 autoimmune diseases, severe cardiac issues, a pacemaker, scoliosis, and other orthopedic damage and rheumatoid arthritis. Autoimmune disease acts a lot like cancer because it attacks healthy tissue and it tries to kill you. I know how hard it is to fight everyday, to endure the bad days, and the desire to do too much whenever you feel even a little bit well. Thank you for calling out the awful people who seem to take delight in questioning the Princess and the future king!! How can they be so awful?!?! They really are to be pitied because it takes a truly miserable person to be so negative and cruel. But still, they deserve to be called out and shut up!! Your videos crack me up and bring a bit of fun to my days! Love you, River!

Just stop sometimes and enjoy what you have.....nothing will ever be perfect enough for you...and the things you complain about......your house and gardens are beautiful but you don't seem to really enjoy them.
