People say the strongest of DBZ can beat the strongest of the DCU and this battle is a good example of why that isn't true. Also the main thing with this fight is that there was one major difference. Goku Black's immortality is temporary while Reverse Flash's isn't.

DC is in a tier dragonball has not reached yet. The sad part is that while dragonball keeps scaling upwards in power so does the DC verse. The Rate the DC verse grows in power us absurd. The great darkness is basically God but dark and yet there's some one currently pulling his strings or should I say the screen of the great darkness. A regular lantern like John Stewart became a omniversal god lantern and one with the godstorm. A power so absurd that the presence himself stated he's the most powerful John Stewart of the omniverse.

Unfortunately, Reverse Flash DIDN'T do the meme-vanish thing at the end of the fight... :( He did flip Goku Black off though °3°

Man... The fact you're still around reacting to DBs is certainly one of the achievements of YT history !!

Bit of a warning for the next one. Since it's episode 150, it'll be an odd one. That's evident form the preview where Wiz and Boomstick were there with Macho Man and Kool-Aid Man. It won't have the standard Death Battle format, and it'll give one of the hosts some character development.

Reverse Flash; Possibly the most powerful villain in DC history. Certainly the most petty.

I think the "Infinite" Mass punch is called that because the POSSIBLE power is infinite, the longer it is charged, the stronger it is, so Reverse Flash was hit with the equivalent of a star blast, not a multi-universe blast, but it could have been stronger if charged longer.

I, and likely many others, warn you ahead of time that Macho Man VS Kool-Aid Man is a DRASTICALLY different episode than usual. It’s a weeeeeeeeird episode Oh also, you mentioned the “It Was Me” meme, the VA for Thawne in this fight is the same guy who made that meme

You are describing a yandere. A Tsundere is the one that likes someone but calls the one they like a idiot & hits them when they are being nice to them.

This is my second favorite Death Battle of all time, and my third favorite is coming right after Macho Man vs Kool Aid Man, so I’m really excited for that

For me, this episode proved that even one-sided matches can still result in highly entertaining, high-quality episodes! So that whenever someone argues against a matchup idea simply because, "it's too much of a stomp!" I could just point to this episode as a counter-example.

Even though this fight was a stomp in Reverse Flash’s favor, it was made up for being a fun episode. Definitely one of my favorites, and I can’t wait to see your reaction to the one after Macho Man Vs Kool aid Man, as that one is my other favorite

This episode was my favorite in all of Death Battle, up until the Season Finale. Glad to see you enjoyed it, too.

This and Dio vs Alucard were my two favorites this season besides the finale, I’m super glad you liked it as well

I love this battle because of how much fun they had with the multiple deaths and the callbacks to flash vs quicksilver

This one was a stomp. Idk why Death Battle thought this was a good idea. Also, that part about Goku black's time ring being able to make him exist in another point in time is a complete lie. All it does is allow Goku black to time travel and still exist if his past self is killed, but he can still be killed like normal in the present. If you kill his present self, he just dies. He does not get replaced by an alternative version

This is one of my favorite Death Battles, and the battle music is definitely my favorite original song thus far.

I think the final joke was a pun on tsunderes (idk if I spelt that right), since that's one way to describe Goku black and reverse flash, I guess. imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and all that

This was a fun fight indeed & of course most time they try to make it sound closer then it actually is,helps lower salt... kinda. Also how about dwarf punch for the infinite mass punch?

I love this death battle because of how creative they got to be with so many different finishers this time, usually you only get one, maybe two if there's a fakeout. And the final one is brutal, planetary roadburn ouch.

One thing I'll say about Macho Man vs Kool-Aid Man: It's both really good... and really disappointing.

Yes, you're right, the Infinite-Mass Punch is indeed infinite. They used the star statement to make the fight look closer. They usually try to make one-sided fights look closer to make the show more appealing for casual viewers. They previously tried to make Shadow vs Ryuko sound closer by ignoring Shadow's higher-end scaling. Not gonna spoil the winner, but they'll do it again in a few episodes with Korra vs Storm, and they do a TERRIBLE job making that one sound close.

"From the space vagina!" sounds like a Boomstick quote

Essentially every time the timeline changes a new ring is made. The silver ring is the original timeline, Trunk's broken timeline where humanity was about to be killed off by the androids. Trunks going back in time was the first split and created the first alternate ring made of Jade. It is only confusing because the writers don't go deep into detail. (But hey, I hate timeline plots and mischief so much I HAD to figure out how it ALL works)

The next Deathbattle is a bit different and I look forward to see what you think of it, though a little bit of the setup has been in the concurrent season of DBX that now has it's own rubdowns and host Ringmaster, this has actually been a Deathbattle they have joked about doing since before they were part of RoosterTeeth just because they wanted an O Yeah off

Yeah there was a reason why I didn't give a pre-thoughts to this one on your last reaction, this was a massive stomp in Reverse-Flash's favor like this battle came down to who could figure out the other's time immunity first which was Black's Time Ring and Eobard's Negative Speed Force which there was no stopping Reverse-Flash from swiping Black's Time Ring off his finger and destroying it which removed the latter's time paradox powers and allowing Eobard to finally kill him though I love the fact that Reverse-Flash was responsible for Quicksilver's "accidental" death from his fight with Barry back in Season 3. Next time with Macho Man Randy Savage and Kool-Aid Man, going to bring this up to you right now, the next fight isn't a normal episode like your standard Death Battle format as this is the special 150th episode cause Wiz and Boomstick are with the two combatants and that the post ending scene from Hulk VS Broly was actually leading up to this moment. Sorry for being a stickler but 9:20 no, no, Xeno is not about power scaling or durability or combat prowess. He closes his fist and entire universes painlessly pop out of existence. Xeno is the kind of character that will never, EVER, be in death battle, there's no lose condition. He is Xeno, The King of Everything. Also in the scene in this video of Xeno blinking Zamasu(Universe Merged) out of existence, Xeno wasn't just deleting that universe, he erased the entire reality that was Trunks' parallel-multiverse timeline. Goku went to back to it, it was Xeno adorably spinning around in a space of pure white nothing 😹

Short answer: Xeno is literally not a hurdle for Goku to one-day overcome, he is Alt F4

Goku Black was STILL ALIVE after being dragged across the Earth at Mach 500, it was being thrown into the sun that actually killed him.

Reverse Flash is mainly Barry Allen's nemesis, but Reverse Flash accidentally met ADULT Wally West first and held his own against him. Zoom (Hunter Zolomon) is Wally Wests version of Reverse Flash. Reverse Flash is IMO, the more unhinged character who's easily willing to kill at any moment and kill anyone to get what he wants. He's killed his own family, his crush's entire relationship suitors, his co -workers, Barry's friends and mother. When people in Death Battle STYLE groups/ subreddits / forums etc. say Flash CAN go back in time and kill them. ReverSe Flash is ACTUALLY the character who is legit willing to do it considering his real personality. He's someone who would be willing to kill a baby should it benefit him. lol

I think this is one of my favorite fights though I am eager for the current seasons season finale. It sounds like its going to be Sauron from Lord of the Rings and what I hope to be the Lich King from world of warcraft.

If I remember right, Universe 6 contains counterparts to Universe 7's residents, with Caulifla being its Goku.

Yeah, and Kale being a weird Broly counterpart. But like, since there were two Zamasus...I don't know, I figured the possibilities were more expansive lol

"Major Final Fantasy villain vibes" "a cosmic joke with no one left to laugh" ...well that just makes me want a very certain villain in Death Battle and I'm not sure if I should say that person's name since I don't know if Ris has played that game yet, but I think most of you know who I mean. I've seen Loki from Marvel floated for that character but that seems like a mismatch. That character is absurdly powerful but I don't think they can stand up to a reality warper. Marx from Kirby has also been brought up, and that sounds closer. Luca Blight from Suikoden as well but honestly that sounds like an absolute stomp in this character's favor instead.

Just taking a moment to acknowledge that near the end of the fight, Reverse Flash was repeatedly exiting and entering the time stream _just to keep punching Goku Black in the face_ before Black decides enough was enough and clotheslines him.

A lot of people criticize that Thawne was able to "figure out" that the time ring is the source of Black's time powers. In my head Canon he still doesn't realize that that's what it was; he just grabbed his ring and destroyed for the sake of fucking with him, like how he knocked the tea cup out of his hand. To this day he still doesn't realize how he was able to finally kill Goku black.

He would have figured it out for multiple reasons 1: The ring glows 2: Thawne is a genius and expert at time shenanigans 3: He's from a universe where an entire galactic police force uses super powered rings. This isn't new to him. Even if he never figured out what the time ring was, Thawn would certainly remove and/or destroy it just to piss of Goku Black.

This is honestly a good episode, but I hate the pacing of Goku blacks analysis

They didn’t mention that the flash’s punch was 20x stronger then the density of a white dwarf and reverse can match that so they kinda hid that

Nope. Reverse-Flash has the ability to sense time-anomalies so eventually he would have detected the ring's power. Melting down the ring destroys it so Black doesn't want to do that. There's nothing to stop Reverse-Flash from simply vibrating Black's molecules and removing the ring. As for Goku Black, there's just no way he was going to figure out the Negative Speed Force, let alone counter it.

Reverse Flash didn't do the vanishing finger technique he actually made the middle finger technique as a way of saying "F U" to Goku Black

Goku black is immortal. He can't be killed but he can be erase by the super dragon Ball and zeno. And he can't use the super dragon Ball because he can't speak the language to activate it.

You're wrong about 2/3 of those. 1: Goku Black is NOT immortal. He specifically denied immortality because by having a Saiyan body, being pushed to near death makes him stronger. The time ring simply makes him immune to changes to his own timeline. 2: True, he can be erased from existence by a being like Zeno. In fact, Reverse Flash can erase timelines like Zeno did in DBS. 3: He most certainly can use the Super Dragon Balls, that's how he wished for Goku's body in the first place. He just can't use them for the fight because he doesn't own them, nor does he have easy access to them.

What made the Goku Black ark so annoying was that he was clearly weaker than Goku and Vegeta; just really hard to put down.

It was dumb tbh Goku could've disintegrated him the moment he decided to use kaioken over blue but he didn't .

Just to warn you, the next one is a little...wonky. the format is non-traditional and it includes a lot of characters from the Death Battle spinoff shows. It's a celebration of the series for the hardcore fans first and a Death Battle very distantly second.

this death battle is almost perfect. the matchup is awesome, the calcs are impressive, and the fight is top-notch. the post-fight analysis isn't perfect, however. bringing up fused zamasu in any capacity is a mistake. black loses to thawne, no question. future zamasu has immortality, but is much weaker physically and has the same time ring weakness black has. he'd be harder to kill, but possible to retcon once the ring is removed. but fused zamasu not only definitively shoots past thawne in any power capacity due to the nature of how potara fusion empowers people, but his immortal soul transcends death in a different way by this point. if zamasu is killed in his fused state, with or without the ring, he becomes infinite zamasu, which can infect and take control of timelines by his mere existence. if thawne is a living paradox, infinite zamasu is a virulent plague upon time itself. the only way to stop him is to erase all universes and timelines he's infected from existence. and i don't mean altering timelines so a certain event does or doesn't happen, i mean destroying it. reducing it to an empty void where time as a concept doesn't exist. retcons as thawne can perform them are not at the level required to kill infinite zamasu; undoing his existence in the way thawne does would only create timelines infinite zamasu hasn't infected yet; safe havens to keep running to. once fused zamasu enters the picture, attempts at killing fused zamasu would only trigger the transformation, and all thawne can do to infinite zamasu is repeatedly abandon ship on the universes he's in until someone sufficiently high on the celestial food chain stops zamasu for him. well, with one exception. based on SDBH, being completely erased as infinite zamasu just returns him back to being fused zamasu, and being shrunk down into nothingness can kill fused zamasu. if thawne figures something like this out, and can manage to master ray palmer's technology to a sufficient degree over however long the stalemate lasts, then even fused zamasu loses.

@@curse9816 did you read what i wrote? the way thawne erases timelines and the way zeno erases timelines is very different. thawne erases timelines by rewriting their histories, altering the trajectory of time away from them. zeno just outright closes his hands, shouts "squish!" and the entire timeline, with all 12 of its universes, is reduced to an empty white void, containing only zeno himself. the former is how goku black came to interact with future zamasu. the latter is what it takes to kill infinite zamasu. thawne using his usual method of erasing time would not kill infinite zamasu, it would create a timeline infinite zamasu hasn't gotten to yet, while infinite zamasu is still hanging around in a now thawne-less timeline, combining with history itself. as he infects timelines and travels along history's path, he should be able to travel to branched histories... including the one thawne created that didn't get an infinite zamasu naturally. the instant thawne lets a fused zamasu become infinite zamasu, zamasu in general becomes a problem beyond the scope of what thawne is capable of without outside help from a higher power.

@@megamimikyu0720 Actually no. Thawne can simply by using the Negative Speed force to unravel entire timelines. Zeno couldn't destroy time itself, only the physical manifestation of the universe. If he did remove time, there would be nothing for the TIME MACHINE to go back and pick him up. The Speed Force and Negative Speed are completely over-the-top hax.

@@Animeaddiction citation needed. i've read my share of comics, and i have yet to see the speed force, positive or negative, unravel timestreams. i have seen stable time loops, and the time boom, but never have i seen him or any other speedster literally undo a timeline in the manner required. the closest to that that i can recall is barry allen running fast enough to reverse the effects of an antimatter cannon that was destroying the multiverse, and he died from that, and stayed dead for 23 years irl. a flashpoint-style retcon would not stop infinite zamasu. it would just buy zoom more timelines to run away to while zamasu expands.

Reverse Flash destroyed alternate timelines and was so petty that he eliminated all possible boyfriends for a girl he had a crush on and made her an invalid. They even mention that in the Death Battle. Infinite Zamasu can do whatever, and it won't affect RF. RF can cause whatever time effects he wants and be completely free of their effects due to his Paradox powers while Infinite Zamasu became tethered to time.

You know how everyone refers to like 8 different groups of people as "gods" in one form or another, in the DBZ universe? The Kais, Supreme Kais, gods of destruction, angels, etc.? Zeno, aka The Omni King, is GOD, with a capital G. Basically can do anything he wants, he thinks it and it happens. No power level bs, he just makes reality change.
