Best part is that he's still alive at that point. Saiyans change back to base form if they die in a Super form. He was still in Rosé form before Thawne chucked him into the sun, so he was still alive with his entire front shredded to pieces.

Personally, I feel this fight was closer than people think. Goku Black has more physical power and durability. But Thawne had attack options that ignored durability and his better speed made him harder to hit at all. So both were capable of dealing a fatal blow. This really came down to who had the better temporal defense. Goku Black’s was dependent on wearing the Time Ring, but Thawne’s was completely automatic.

it was definitely close. They say the same here. Goku Black’s cunning, durability, and martial arts are implicit but obvious advantages. The power, speed, and similar immortality seems key to the advantage. That said, I wonder if the same would apply to Fused Zamasu.

I found a video by a guy called Spongebobboy who made his version of a “super debunk” for this (which was 100% wrong) and sent actual death threats to Ben and Chad simply cause he thinks Death Battle heavily wanked Thawne and heavily, heavily downplayed Black.

@@zacharyfrierson6972 that's what's wrong with most people in the DragonBall community, a DB character loses and they just lose their minds simply when someone out their is actually stronger, faster, or has better abilities than them. They literally have just stated that nothing ever matters about brute strength or how many galaxies and universes to be blown up. Reverse Flash just can't ever DIE permanently. Goku Black could deal a lot of ways to kill Eobard Thawne but he just can't do anything to stop him from coming back.

18:32 Actually, that COULD be explained by them meeting the "very first time" because of some other circumstances (like another Tournament between universes), but because of the time travel, they now meet like this.

Yeah I believe Vegeta summed it up best while he was thrashing on Goku Black: “Every muscle, every cell. That body was built from a lifetime of battles! But you stole it! It’s all secondhand!” “You feel the power in that Saiyan body but you don’t understand it! Because you didn’t build it! And you’ll never learn to think like that clown!

Goku's always spared mass murderers because they could come back and fight him later. He acts more childish in Super, but other than that he's the same.

Best. Death Battle. Ever. Pitted two of my favourite evil copies against each other(ALSO my favourite Dragon Ball villain and second favourite DC villain), voice acting was subarashii, funny easter eggs and memes were present, research was accurate and the entire fight was just holy fucking shit nuts. Better character won and it was Dragon Ball's turn to lose after 6 year win streak, but I think DC should lose someday to a non-Marvel character and so far Captain Boomerang vs. Kano seems like the only way to do that.

I have super speed too, minus all the crazy stuff Reverse Flash can do, and dimension hopping, and time-travel.

This fight all but confirmed that Reverse Flash would utterly defeat Archie Sonic a lot more easier than Wally ever could. If what that Mammoth Wizard said is anything to go by, Thawne can just age Sonic until he's old or dust or travel through time faster.

Not to mention in Archie Sonic comics, there are timelines where Sonic straight up died, hell Enerjak literally has his corpse hanging off his wall in one scene. It's not a complete "Always Win" scenario. If the Mammoth says Sonic can still age to death, then Reverse Flash will do just that... Or just go back in time whenever he feels like and kill Archie Sonic right then and there. The End, easy as that.

@@yoyoperez3307 Hyper Sonic, I believe, is only in video games, unlike Super and Ultra Sonic. But Regardless, yes, Sonic is at his best in those forms and technically no Flash, not even Wally or Thawne, can beat it in a straight up fight, which is why they could simply run away from it or phase through whatever attacks Sonic could throw until he loses those forms naturally. Sonic forms always follow one cardinal rule, they all have a strict time limit, and eventually Sonic will lose those forms, leaving him vulnerable to attacks. All Thawne has to do is either go back or forward in time to when this happens and done.

It's probably that way because they're caught in an awkard phase of buffing CW Flash too much to the point where The Rogues don't really have an answer for a lot of the power ups he got every season. They even address in interviews how HARD it is to write villains for a guy who can go as fast as he does. They acknowledge that the show can probably , realistically end in seconds and they have to drag it out for 40+ minutes and 24 episodes+. That's the exact same reason they don't make a Flash game. How do you create a game that satisfies fans and can still show how he's able to search tne entire solar system in seconds for a villain? The Flash is too powerful and broken. So they have to keep figuring out ways to make a confrontation last longer than it can honestly go. To be fair, I think Reverse Flash and Zoom were the best speedsters who had the best arcs. Maybe they can get Chester to create some new tech for a NEW Rogues team and do a full on Rogue's battle. It's a shame because Wentworth Miller and Dominic Percell were great as Cold and Heatwave. I think they should do a Grodd storyline where he gets Velocity X or manages to steal the Still Force, or maybe King Shark gets ahold of the Strength Force etc. or all of the above.

10:35- No, it's just the color for when the saiyan has god ki naturally. Like if Goku had become the Guardian of Earth way back when then he would have gotten rose instead of blue.

Hi frost, i'm afraid it looks like your head canon was maybe decomfirm cause i witness that wiz and boomstick are interacting with the next competitors, so yeah they not clones at all cause none of them have souls, i think i have the answer of what's going on that wiz and boomstick did some recording to every different alternative realities in different universes something like "Marvel's what if...? Situation" that these competitors in the past are in the same universe or something, so yeah that's just my guess how death battle works.

I know how you feel about characters getting dumber throughout a series. I've seen clips of Pokemon Journeys. How many ground types does it take for Ash to realize that electric type moves won't work?

like wally can speed steal sonic's unlimited power, wally's control over his molecule is immune to sonic's molecular manipulation, wally's intangibility can phase through reality warping energy which sonic possesses....it's like DC writers did a reseaech on sonic and make sure sonic's abilities can be surpassed

For the next one. I am gonna root for Randy Savage because he was able to go toe to toe with Hulk Hogan who managed to slam Andre The Giant, the same giant who was able to flip a car with 4 people inside. And Hogan did the same slam treatment to The Big Show in WCW. OOOH YEAH! FLYING ELBOW DROP!

Because Dragon Ball Super manga isn't canon material until Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc. Dragon Ball Super anime is the canon source material. They only use non-canon material in feats if it can be supported with the feats seen in canon material.

And it's clearly stated that Beerus hasn't fully mastered Ultra Instinct, and we saw in anime how jealous Beerus was about Goku achieving that mastered form of Ultra Instinct state during the Tournament of Power even if Goku learned to control it after Dragon Ball Super Broly's events.

Actually The Flashpoint resetted the whole DC Universe and later Reverse told him you went sonic time and now sonic boom which is worse Superman being a child and not Super at all and the mother of Batman being the Joker and kill Bruce instead and Wonder Woman being evil and so others and way more crazier shit than that!

Eh id say Archie has in the bag i mean sure wally is crazy fast but Archie is stronger more versitile and again plot armor. Im not changing my anwser i think archie sonic can beat wally now reverse flash tho now that's an intresting fight
