it's suggested in some lore that Ganon actually lacks the courage to wield the triforce of courage by Farore's definition of courage. He never addresses the hero until the end of the game, he usually sends a minion or tries some kind of trick.

It’s not that Ganondorf wasn’t wise or brave. He tricked an entire country and despite *multiple timelines* of Link’s beating him he isn’t really phased whenever another pops up. It’s mostly that his power is leagues above his other virtues.

Being intelligent and being wise is not the same thing. He attacking the same kindom after all his defeats is not a wise move for example.

@@franciscoarzapalozapata4610 True. I was just going by Ris’s comment. To me the virtues seem more akin to the id, ego and superego with power representing the id. Though I have seen people associate it with the warrior, mage and thief stereotype with Ganondorf being the warrior, which I can kind of see since Zelda and Link are rather mage and thief like.

In case no one has pointed it out. The 3D fights have been having a cameo from the winner of the previous 3D fight. Like Mechagodzilla has a statue in the background in this fight. And Drac will show up in the next 3D one

It's true that the player learns to anticipate the lasers, but Link himself is shown doing both that and actually reacting. There's nothing inherently wrong with the Beamo feat. Also the Demonic Megiddo being holy was said out loud before the fight. The episode also includes a black box that explains how the Triforce of Power has been overpowered before on at least 2 occasions

This was a fight that I had waited for a long time even before Ganondorf's first match with Bowser like Ganondorf VS Dracula was a match that was a long time coming and as for the first Source Filmmaker fight, it was really good to see Ganondorf and Dracula using their Smash Ultimate models but yeah next time with Mob and Tatsumaki, the battle between powerful anime espers basically Psychic powerhouses that both share the same creator with ONE like in an interview, he had stated that Tatsumaki can beat normal Mob in a fight but he had no answer to who would win if Mob gets serious.

“I have no idea what game that was from” It’s Twilight Princess. The only canon Zelda game with a Teen rating and one of the most popular Zelda games. Takes place years after Majora’s Mask (child timeline) after Ocarina of Time Link (child version) grew up and past away, Twilight Princess Link being his direct descendant. The only confirmed direct descendent if I remember correctly.

I usually never get upset over a loss unless it feels unearned. Like i could only think of 3 fights that got me super bothered and that was Luigi vs Tails, Ben 10 vs Green Lantern and Dio vs Alucard.

I really didn't care for either franchises but I like Ganondwarf in Smash so I was rooting for him, not torn up over the loss tho. This animation was incredible as you said and I believe it's the first animation made in this engine. I forget what it was called, maybe unreal?

This is my favorite Zelda fight (a big reason being they didn't give Ganon a no limits fallacy) but despite being a Zelda fan, the Zelda DB episodes always annoy me and the major reason why is because they always composite Link, Zelda and Ganon when there have been separate entities sharing those names and appearances so they aren't ALWAYS the same people. While it makes sense to composite most appearances of Ganon because most of them are the same (Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Link to the Past Ganon are the same as Ocarina of Time, just in three different timelines), there is still instances where a completely new Ganon surfaces. I am pretty sure it is stated in the Fourswords games that the Ganon you fight is a new Ganon that is a reincarnation of the original after he was killed in Twilight Princess, thus a separate person and we currently don't know if the Ganon in Breath of the Wild is the Ocarina of Time one or another incarnation so you can't really add Calamity Ganon's feats to OoT Ganon because we don't know if they're the same. I also find it funny how they ignored the whole Triforce in this which I didn't think about at first because I didn't realize they composited Ganon in this. They used Link to the Past feats since they mention he defeated the Hero of Time, which only happens in the Downfall Timeline. In that case, Link to the Past Ganon has the full Triforce so he literally has an object that has the power of the Goddesses that created the universe and the Triforce has also been shown to affect entire dimensions so you could argue Ganon from the Downfall Timeline is universal since he has an object with universal power and he used this object to alter an entire dimension (The Sacred Realm) to make it his own. Would it have been enough, probably not but I find it funny how the full Triforce could have been considered and they just ignored it. Still, there wasn't a no limits fallacy like Ganon vs Bowser where they were like "Unless you have a holy weapon, Ganon can't be touched" and Dracula just seemed too crazy even with the possible power boost the full Triforce would give Ganon so I can't complain. Plus, Dracula's line of "You're not a man, you're a pig~ So let me hear you squeal~!" is savage as hell and awesome.

Well, the reasons why they were pitted against one another are quite complex, but the only reason I can think of is because they can only come back once every 100 years.

I would like to fight their monsters forms as Goilath from Evolve.

I don't think they were scaling the Beamos attack as a reaction feat, they were saying Link could move that fast relative to the beam, i.e. the beam travels x distance when it activates, and in that travel time Link moves x distance as well. Not my favorite scaling, either, but the other option was probably using Flurry Rush from Breath of the Wild, which was probably not out when this Death Battle came out, and results in even more wonky scaling. Link and 'dorf don't have a lot of real speed feats.

Yeah, that makes sense for what they were doing, but that still feels kinda iffy to be doing that at all? Like, by that logic, every boss and a good chunk of monsters in Hyrule are _also_ on or near light-speed-tier reaction time, since they'd scale to a similar level, and that's clearly ridiculous. And you can run parallel to a firing Beamos beam too, does that mean that Link's movement speed is also light-speed-tier? Honestly I feel like Death Battle goes to the laser beam (or laser-like thing) = light-speed-tier reaction time and lightning bolt (or lightning-like thing) = lightning-tier reaction time wells for videogame characters way too often, when a lot of the time they're almost certainly just gameplay abstractions rather than literal representations. It might be the only feat to pull out, but not having a good feat doesn't really feel like a good reason to use a goofy feat to me.

Breath of the Wild was released in 2017. This death battle came out in 2019

I don’t agree with the analysis completely on this death battle if your Dracula then holy magic would be satanic magic which is evil right and ganondorf is the king of evil that’s been around since the beginning of time so it wouldn’t effect him right I do agree ganondorf didn’t have an attack that was stronger then a meteor strike so I agree Dracula had the edge but I think they shorted ganondorf because some super smash fanboy just wanted him to get his butt whipped

deathbattle makes it seem like link has light speed reflextes..BS! in that case EVERY player has lightspeed reflexes xD Link doesn't dodge light, he dodges the telegraphed trajectory which is a lot easier xD man. these guys are too much.
